Almost the entirety of the second floor was booked by, what appeared to be, a pee-wee hockey team/league. Right up until 9pm the kids were yelling and screaming and running up and down the hall slamming sticks and bodies into walls and doors while the adults just stood in the hallway and had conversations with no consideration given to the other guests. No attempt was made by hotel staff to deal with this.

We went to see family for Xmas and stayed during Christmas. Very different experience from previous stay. Still renovating. It was alright not anything to rave about honestly. Didn’t like the pool it was cold. Wish there was a hot tub as well. They ran out of bacon and that sucked as it was just sausages the whole time. The breakfast area gets really packed and congested. Had to ask for help multiple times for stuff. Had to get the pancake batter filled and it was lumpy. Rewhipped it with a fork to make smoother. Not a ton of options but nice. They had tea/coffee & cookies daily. Some staff members were great others not so much. Lots of gossip among some about guests. Staff gossiped about our stinky diaper garbage. 3 kids in pull-ups 1 disabled. Completely appalled. We’re very clean so not cool! Room was large and nice especially considering we were there for almost a week. The fridge was so loud and annoying. So was the a/c on my gosh. When you sat on the toilet you felt vibrations from whatever is below. The noise otherwise was relatively good. The house keeping didn’t make the beds, or top up our toilet paper, or toiletries we had to ask for some which was a nuisance. We had an issue with a staff member and it was truly the worse experience we’ve ever had, it truly was uncalled for, embarrassing, and unprofessional. Other guests complained as well. Had talked to management and was slightly compensated. Not sure I’d stay here again though honestly as it left a bad taste.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on the way to BC and coming back and overall nice, clean and friendly staff . . BUT rooms are not sound proof at all!! You can literally hear people stomping upstairs and in beside rooms, talking and doors opening and closing. I had to wear ear plugs and turn on a fan app on my phone and still constantly got woken up all night long
