1. In adequate number of staff for serving. 2. Food cut off favoured staff over customers who wanted food at a later time of day. 3. In their premium room, only 2 coffee sachets, only one hot chocolate, only one chair for the table 4. Spa was ok but felt like it needed a good clean 5. Spa man changing room ditto… needed a good clean 6. Spa staff!!! Walked in, can we have towels yes, go into changing room, hmmm how do use the locker? You need a token! So now changed I need to walk back to reception to get a token! Useless staff!

I stayed at Radisson Blu Durham expecting a special, premium experience, but was left disappointed. The bed was uncomfortable, and while mattress toppers are available, I was first told they weren’t — only to later find out otherwise. Parking is expensive, and although staff mentioned other options, they gave little to no useful information. Front desk staff were cold and unwelcoming, which set the tone for the entire stay. The biggest letdown was the health spa — the main reason I booked this hotel. The weekend hours had changed, but this was not posted anywhere. I was told this info would’ve been in a welcome letter, but they’d run out and didn’t give me one. Overall, I felt dismissed and undervalued. I wasted my money on what was supposed to be a special experience. I won’t be staying at another Radisson and hope this serves as a warning to others.

Unfortunately my room wasnt clean, there was evidence of the previous occupant, long hair in bath, sinks, on the bathroom floor even a eye pencil on the desk was missed. Made me wonder what else hadnt been done correctly. Stayed here many times without any problems, hope it was just a one-off.

Really good location, very clean

Very clean hotel, staff were very polite and always someone on hand if needed. Rooms are a good size and well equipped, sadly for me I found the beds very uncomfortable, the mattress is very firm, pillows uncomfortable and the duvet wasn’t big enough for the bed so everytime one of us moved the duvet uncovered the other. It was a shame as we couldn’t fault anything else, the location was fab and close to everything but without the noise of the town disturbing you but just didn’t sleep well due to the bed.

The hotel is in a great location, easy walk into the city centre. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I loved the hydration stations on each floor to refill the water bottle. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

We had the most amazing time away, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were great and managed to get us in 2 hours earlier than our check in time. We would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.
