Arrived at 3PM. Told us that they had "issues with rooms today" and room was not ready but we can wait in the lobby. After about 30 minutes I went to the front deask and they asked mne for my name again...same person...we were the only people waiting in the lobby. Our room was now ready. Also...1st floor room...we asked if we could change but fully booked. Had stayed here before and had a better experience than this.

Business Travel

Pros: Cleanliness.
Cons: Breakfast choices, coffee quality and add a happy hour/bar.
Location: Montrose, Colorado is a rural community outside Grand Junction. The Black Canyon is fabulous, as well as their historic downtown.
When I travel on business, I like to stay here. Although, I am always a little disappointed in the breakfast choices (I'm gluten-free) and the quality of the coffee (watery, no real milk/cream or soy milk). The rooms are clean and quiet (important since I'm a light sleeper). The facility is clean and tidy. Yes, I'd recommend it. Although, there aren't a lot of choices in Montrose.
