Fun in Durango

Fun two night stay in Durango with my two daughters and grandchildren ages 11 and 15. The house was gorgeous and very clean. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. The only issue was all the smoke detectors were removed and on the dryer In the laundry room.

Beautiful and comfortable

We really enjoyed the house! Everything was spotless, so cute and cozy for our family while we were sending our daughter off to her first year at Ft Lewis College. Close to Durango and the hot springs made the location perfect. The beds were comfortable and the AC was nice to have.

Great property

House is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Communication was great! Very easy to find and a great location for seeing the surrounding area. We rode the Durango/Silverton train which we enjoyed very much.

Jaxon’s First Hike

Loved the house. The layout worked well for a family. Easy access to Historic Durango, the grocery store, and the hiking/swimming we did. Neighbors were friendly too!

Very nice house. 20 min from skiing, 10 min from durango, 2 minutes to grocery store. Highly recommend

Very nice !

Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed it very much. Liked that it was off the beaten path. Close to James ranch, hot springs, and honeyville. Had everything we needed.

Property was clean and consistent with the advertising. The kitchen glassware, dishes, etc. and patio furniture are less than average. Great property attentive Property Manager pleased with our stay!

Out of town, but not too far

Nice, clean home in a quiet neighborhood. Close enough to town for food and activities, as well as the gateway to Million Dollar Hwy. Master bed was comfortable and bathroom was spacious. Kitchen had all the basic necessities. Property management checked in to make sure all was good (it was).

Great Place to Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gaining access to the house was super easy and straight forward. We were a group of four in town to ride mountain bikes and thoroughly enjoyed the large three car garage and grilling on the back deck. The kitchen is well equipped and very functional. Having the washer / dryer was clutch and the supplies left by the management company made settling in and cleaning easy. The location is awesome- close to the hot springs, a market across the street, quick access to Purgatory and trails. Overall a great place to stay!

Close to everything

The single story property is a short drive from Durango center and just down the street from the hot springs. It is a very spacious and bright home with lots of natural light in all rooms, including the 2 full bathrooms. The large, well appointed kitchen, dining and living areas are situated in the center of the house with access to decks on both front and back of the house. The master bedroom/ensuite and walk-in closet are huge and also have access to the back deck. The back yard faces a road which does see traffic but isn’t steady, however, it does get the afternoon sun which can be intense. The front deck/porch was a nice place to have morning coffee.

Excellent Retreat

Wonderful property, bright and open with an excellent floor plan. Nothing wrong with the property, close enough to town and Purgatory. Only problem we experienced was the previous renter must not know how to do the dishes and no one from the property put them away, we didn’t discover the overloaded dishwasher until after we had already tried to clean up our dinner. While we were pleasantly surprised to find more dishes and pans, because it was overloaded, most had caked on food and were just dirty. All in all, felt like it took two days to get clean dishes. Same deal with the coffee maker, grounds in pot and filter even after trying to clean it thoroughly. Was irritating but didn’t stop us from enjoying the town or putting together puzzles in front of the beautiful fireplace.

Wonderful house!

The house is beautiful, the neighbors are friendly, and the location is perfect. Just a bit out of town, with a lovey market and wine shop across the highway. The house is well equipped for our family, blackout shades in the bedroom were great! Would highly recommend this property and we will definitely be back.
