This gorgeous and secluded riverside home features some of the most beautiful scenery you can find, while still being just a short drive to downtown and all that Durango can offer. Only 20 minutes from Purgatory Ski Resort and 15 minutes to downtown Durango, you are perfectly located to enjoy the many activities Durango offers. Situated on 4 acres and nestled in the trees, there are views of the river, creek or private ponds, or surrounding mountains and cliffs from just about everywhere in the home. Finished in tile and granite with lofted wood beam ceilings, the Riverbend Hideaway is professionally decorated and beautifully furnished for an atmosphere of casual elegance. This home has wonderful touches such as in floor radiant heat, and is completely equipped with linens, towels, and kitchen utensils. All bedrooms in the home feature in room TV's and comfortable memory foam mattresses. It has everything you need to provide for your total comfort. Laugh and enjoy time entertaining friends/family in the well equipped kitchen/breakfast bar stocked with everything you could need. There is a dining table with plenty of seating for all right next to the kitchen. The living room overlooks the spacious back yard, with a gas fireplace that serves both the living room and dining area. Also on the main floor is the downstairs is the spacious master suite full of luxurious amenities. The room features a king bed and sofa sleeper. Curl up with a good book on the cozy private deck and listen to the stream that is 25 feet away. The master bath has a large double vanity as well as separate makeup area and a standing rainfall shower. There is also a large soaking tub perfect for relaxing after a long day visiting the sites, especially when you have a fire going in the master fireplace. As you head upstairs you will find a game table and library area, stocked with books and board games. There are four bedrooms on this floor, the first has a king bed. The next two bedrooms both feature queen beds. These bedrooms all share a full bath with dual vanity and large standing shower. From the bedroom 3 and 4 area you can access the wrap around deck, and you will also find a small kitchenette with mini fridge and microwave. The upstairs suite has two queen/queen bunks plus a sofa sleeper, as well as a private bath with standing shower. From this room you can access the wrap around deck with private hot tub and lots of seating. You can soak under the stars and listen to the peaceful sounds of the river. There is a spacious yard out back where the kids can run around, and there is a gas grill and even more outdoor seating and dining. Gather with friends/family on the back deck and roast marshmallows in the fire pit surrounded by huge pine trees listening to the river running beside the deck. The home is equipped with lots of outdoor games such as corn hole, croquet, badminton, and horseshoes and also a ping pong table in the garage. Two sets of washers and dryers plus an extra fridge/freezer in the garage make it very easy for larger groups.
