Very disappointed!

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel overall. The rooms were filthy and in bad condition. I’m not entirely sure our rooms were even cleaned prior to us checking in. The shower floor and walls were covered in hair and dirt. The bathroom doesn’t have actual doors. They slide close like a closet and not even completely. The rooms don’t come with microwaves but have a refrigerator. The carpet was so dirty that the bottom of my kids feet were black. I refused to walk barefoot or take a shower without shoes. The restaurant food is over priced and customer service was terrible. We went once for breakfast and never went back. The valet parking was disorganized and chaotic. The best part of the hotel other than proximity to the beach and local restaurants and shops was the pool. The staff at the pool were very nice, had excellent customer service and the food was good as well. Sadly if we visit again we won’t be staying at this hotel.

We requested a gulf view and only got half of that as most of the view was a wall. As you stand in the balcony you can only hear the air conditioners running so you could not hear the ocean. Speaking of air conditioners, ours did not work in the room (was never fixed). One elevator was broke the entire time so you had to wait for one for awhile. They charge a $35 daily fee and only found out what that gets you the last day. And worst of all, my wife’s wedding ring was missing after we returned to the room when housekeeping was completed.

I like the location of this property. It’s close to everything you need, food, beach, pier 60, walking, etc. However, the property itself is outdated. The rooms are small, it’s obvious, they’ve painted over old walls, instead of doing a true remodel. There was a small refrigerator, but no microwave. During my stay the outlets and room phone did not work. Only the outlet in the bathroom and the USB ports worked. Also, the air conditioner was extremely loud and only blew directly over the head of the bed. This was one of the cheaper properties in the area, but it can definitely use a remodel. Service was great and I loved the onsite dining options and activities. You really don’t need a car at this property, there is a lot to do in walking distance of the hotel. I was just disappointed in the condition of the room.

Once i arrived with my 3 kids at 10pm the rrom we’ve got had a vomite on the carpet. I went downstairs right away and asked for another room. The lady at frontsesk didn’t believe on me and i asked her to come to the room and see herself. She weent to the rrom and confirmed the vomite and smell but said that she didn’t have another room and asked me to stay on the unsanitary room or leave that she’d refund me. It was 11pm i denied both option, and receptionist disappeared. After waiting for long time, another receptionist arrived and she wasn’t sweared of my situation. I asked about the previous receptionist she answered that she was in the bathroom. I had to explain everything again and she offered the same as the previous, “take it or leave”. I declined again and said that she must find another room. They treated me and my kids very bad, we’re exhausted. After long war and waiting, suddenly another room appeared available. The next day, elevator went out of service with me and my kids inside. We’re going down dor breakfast and had another horrible and terrifying experience. After got out, we used stairs the whole trip, we’re on 6th floor. I opened a complain with the manager and he never replies or excused for the incident. Btw the beach services is above $250 per day for umbrella and chairs. Parking and resort fees added per day without no services. Dont stay here.
