About Duingt….
Duingt is located on the western side of the Annecy Lake and has definitely earned it’s nickname "Pearl of the Lake".
Next to St Jorioz, Duingt (pronounced DOH-WAH!), offers an exceptional mountain and lake view. The cycle track from Annecy to Ugines (35kms) crosses the village and connects the villages along the lake very easily by bike.
The "best bakery of the lake" is located in Duingt, as well as a bookstore, and high-quality cuisine (Clos Marcel or Wakpala for example).
Duingt is a fabulous place for a relaxing holiday in both the summer and winter times.

-Cycling (bike path to go around the lake is in front of the house)
-Hiking (departure of many walks from the house: Entrevernes, Saint-Jorioz)

Great location
We booked this location knowing Lake Annecy - the views from this apartment were outstanding. Highly recommended.
The private secure terrace was a massive bonus due to its size - we had two small dogs so knowing they were safe was a priority.
We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Great location and view, apartment not ‘luxury’
We enjoyed our week in the apartment - the view is incredible, and Duingt is a great location to explore the lake - but were underwhelmed by the apartment itself. Considering the price and ‘luxury’ tag, interior fittings felt dated and worn, especially the bathroom. Appliances and utensils were not entirely clean. Noise from the apartment above was also disruptive.

Positive: simple apartment, sufficiently equipped, with wonderful terrace and stunning views, direct af lake Annecy
Negative: (unannounced) construction work in hallway with lots of dirt, smell and of tobacco in appartement, broken candle in apartment which caused me to cut my hand severely for which i had to undergo surgery at a hospital in Annecy - lack of responsibility and very unsatisfactory communication with Sophie regarding this injury.

The apartment was lovely with a fabulous view. You can hear street noise, as well as music from across the lake. It was great for watching the hang gliders, and Sophie was so nice during our check in and out.

Appartement très bien équipé et très propre avec magnifique vue sur le lac d'Annecy. Les points négatifs : le parking qui est très éloigné par rapport à la résidence (peu pratique avec les bagages ou courses) et la route qui est très passante à toute heure de la journée et de la nuit.

Une vue magnifique
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille.
La vue est juste magnifique ! Encore plus beau en vrai qu'en photo!
Du matin au soir nous avons pu profiter de la terrasse et admirer les changements de couleurs de l'eau du lac. Les 4 transats ont été très utilisés durant notre séjour. Impossible de se lasser de ce décor !
L'intérieur de l'appartement est plutôt classique, un gros point positif pour son lit King size et sa literie de qualité. Un tout petit bémol pour le manque de prises électriques dans l'appartement.
Malgré des températures très élevées, l'appartement a su conserver sa fraîcheur et c'était très appréciable de dormir au frais.
L'atout de cet appartement reste tout de même sa terrasse et son accès au lac par les parties communes.
Un point positif également pour sa place de parking privée et le passage sous-terrain pour ne pas avoir à traverser la route lorsque la circulation est dense.
Le bruit de la circulation ne nous a pas gêné, et l'appartement est très bien insonorisé.
L''appartement est prévu pour 4 personnes mais nous avons pu recevoir sans problème grâce à la grande table de la terrasse.
Nous avons même fait le choix de prolonger notre séjour de 2 nuits car le logement était (par chance) encore disponible! Un vrai coin de paradis que nous n'étions pas prêt à quitter !

Appartement du bord du lac
La première impression de l'immeuble peu esthétique , massif, au bord d'une route passagère n'est pas très bonne.
Heureusement l'appartement est situé à l'arrière, au bord du lac ce qui atténue le bruit. La vue est idyllique sur le lac et les montagnes ( soleil sur la terrasse le matin et le soir)
L'appartement est fonctionnel , spacieux pour deux personnes; dans l'ensemble bien équipé, le lit confortable et les plus la machine à laver et la wifi.
Pour améliorer son équipement,il serait souhaitable de prévoir un fer et une table à repasser , des poignées pour les casseroles et des assiettes à dessert.
Excellent accueil très appreciable,très bon sejour dans cette magnifique région
