Nice hostel in downtown Dublin. I've never stayed in a hostel with so many beds in the room, but it was ok and a great price!

The hostel matches its price

I felt comfortable for its staffs and hotel cleanliness. The bed was actually clean and comfy. All were good except the old building. The shower rooms were old. But it is very cheap and is best choice of cheap dorm in Dublin

Downtown hostel

My place hostel is a mid range budget hostel. No frills attached, but none should be expected if you are booking budget hostel lodging in the center of Dublin. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hostel is nice and really clean, no problems for that. Staff is professional. The shower was cold from my point of you, and the air conditioning was not working in the room, it was really hot and humid, was hard to sleep correctly. But My place is a nice hostel, if I have another room next time or if the problem is fixed, I will definitely come back.

Convenient location

Good hostel for what you pay for it. The only things I could fault in it: there were only two plug points in a room of 12 and they could have used the space better in the hostel showering room. Some mirrors next to plug points would have been ideal. However, aside from that there were no other issues with my stay. There is a bus link to the airport right outside the hostel too, which was very convenient.

Basic Hostel

Check in time was very quick, staff were friendly. Didnt like that there was no where to put bags in dorm. Would have felt safer if lockers were big enough to store my suitcase.

Great weekend in Dublin!!

Having stayed at my place hostel for the first time in April last year when the opportunity arose for a further trip to Dublin to watch a rugby match between Leinster and Bath my place was the obvious cheap option for me. Travelling on my own and meeting up with friends upon arrival in Dublin my place provides a ideal central location in order to walk/taxi to the numerous watering holes around Dublin and the RDS stadium for the rugby itself. The hostel is clean and tidy and provides ridiculously good value for individuals travelling alone like myself or wishing to have a cheap get away. It provides all the basic facilities required and have helpful and friendly staff available 24/7 to answer any queries. I would have no hesitation in booking again only thing i would say is perhaps not for those who want complete peace and quiet at night having shared a room but then that is part and parcel of staying in a hostel.

Straightforward hostel. Kitchen great but closed at lunchtime. TV with basic channels. Located in traditionally downmarket part of Dublin but safe enough. Wi fi difficulties. Staff great.

Great place

It was wonderful, good location, friendly staff. Only problem was the bathroom and showers were all the way in the basement , which was a bit of a walk down stairs.

We stayed in a 20-bed dorm with a big group of friends and despite the negative reviews we read online we found our stay there fine. Obviously, in a 20 bed room there is not much comfort but it's good enough if you are there for a few days. Would recommend it if you are on a budget.

The bathrooms for the dorm style rooms are in a basement with no heating. The place creaks a lot, but overall it was a fine experience for 4 nights

Sickening.

Worst experience of a night's stay! So far away from everything for starters. Three girls came for two nights. Upon arrival we were greeted by a nice gentlemen who then told us that our beds were not together. Strike 1. We were then greeted by a very disturbing disgusting smell in the room, 20 beds, 17 occupied by men. Great. Finding our (separate) beds, two of them had other people's luggage on there so we went to complain and the receptionist came to our room and bagged up their belongings. We got ready in about ten minutes to escape the place and when we arrived back at 4am, there was a human being in one of our beds!!! Again, we complained and managed to get another room which we were pleased with. Then 10am in comes another guy asking "girls, why are you in here?" Excuse you. Your colleague put us in here actually. He said "well we have 18 guys moving in here so you have to move." Strike 2. Out we were, moved into the dungeons that were "showers" and 2 euro rented towel- cheek. By this time, we already paid for another place to stay. The staff couldn't care less that we were not satisfied and had a terrible stay! Nice one! By the way, we moved to a fantastic hostel ten minutes away from the hole, and our last night was fantastic!
