"An amazing place. We had the two bedrooms suite. It is spacious. The only downfall is one of the bedrooms is as soon as you open the door and everyone has to walk through the room to come and go from the room or to the living space. Our room overlooked the canal with the boats and was quiet but beautiful. The property has a lot to offer. We paid for a private dinner for Memorial Day and No One at our hotel knew where it was…. It was at the sister hotel. BIGGEST PROBLEM….NO ICE. All machines did not have any. WE HAD TO GO TO THE TIKI BAR TO GET ANY. We had an AMAZING WAITRESS IN THE ITALIAN RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST WHO WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND. I forgot her name but I think it was Brandy. She went and got me cappuccino from the Tiki hut for breakfast . "

She went above and beyond to make sure our stay started off on the right foot, answering our questions with a smile and giving us great tips about the resort and surrounding area. Her positive energy set the tone for the whole trip.Our kids had a blast, from splashing in the pool and playing on the beach to dancing to the live music in the evenings, there was never a dull moment. It’s not always easy to find a place that’s fun for both adults and kids, but Shephard’s nailed it.The rooms were clean and comfortable, the beach was beautiful, and the live music and poolside fun made every day feel like a party. Whether you’re lounging on the sand, grabbing a drink at the bar, or just soaking in the vibe, Shephard’s has something for everyone.We’re already planning our next trip back and hoping Toni is there to welcome us again!"
