Disney Fort Wilderness Cabin – The Pioneer (Close to I-75)

Authentic Disney Fort Wilderness Cabin on a private wooded 6-acre lot in South Georgia, less than 10 minutes from I-75. The cabin came straight from Disney World when they retired and replaced their original Fort Wilderness cabins — same exterior, same details, now yours for the night. Quiet woods, a charcoal grill, and a back porch made for slowing down. Two sister cabins (The Scout, just east, and Lake Blackshear cabin) make this perfect for larger groups traveling together. Hotel-grade beds, fast WiFi, instant book. Pets welcome: up to 2 dogs, 50 lbs each, $25 per stay.

Monthly bookings welcome — we recently hosted a 112-night stay.

Heading down I-75 to Florida? This is a perfect halfway stop. In town for a softball tournament, a Cordele Dragway race weekend, or a trip to Lake Blackshear? You`re 10 minutes from all of it.
🏡 Fort Wilderness Cabin House Rules
• Check-in after 4:00 PM / Check-out by 10:00 AM
• No smoking or vaping indoors — outdoors only.
• No parties or events without prior approval.
• Registered guests only — no unapproved visitors. Maximum 6 guests (everyone age 2 and up counts).
• Guests must be 21 or older unless a parent or guardian books and stays.
• Pets welcome: up to 2 animals, 50 lbs maximum each. Pet fee: $25 per stay. For larger breeds, please message us for permission before booking.
• Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM (please respect neighbors and wildlife).
• No hunting on the property.
• Please lock doors and windows when leaving.
• Do not move furniture between rooms.
• No fireworks, candles, or open flames. The charcoal grill is fine.
• Clean dishes, cookware, and utensils before check-out.
• Do not leave food outside — it attracts wildlife.
• Place garbage in sealed bags and use outdoor bins.
• Enjoy the Disney Fort Wilderness history — but please treat décor and furniture with respect.
• Report any damages or issues immediately.

This little cabin is perfect for a quick getaway. Price is unbeatable and the host is very communicative. The cabin was very comfortable and private. Will definitely book again when in the area.
