"We booked the room upon arriving in Kuantan. The building's exterior, along with the dated mall beside to it, didn't make it our first choice for a hotel.
Additionally, the place seemed to have a strong religious tone, which reminded me of a past news of a religious institution raided a hotel, asking elderly couples for proof of marriage.
Despite our reservations, we decided to give it a try since our preferred hotel was fully booked. To our surprise, the stay turned out to be pleasant, especially due to the friendly staff.
The room we stayed in was somewhat old, but we noticed that some painting and renovation work was underway"
