"First off, the location was great, about a 10 minute walk from Matsuyama station, and right next to Matsuyama Castle.
While the hotel is older, the room and bathroom were clean. There were some stains on the carpet and wall paper, and the plastics in the bathroom are little yellowed, but still overall clean. The air conditioning worked well, and the the room was quite large, at least by Japan budget hotel standards. I paid slightly more for a castle view room, and the view was definitely worth the extra money.
Overall, I think the hotel is a good value, personally had no regrets staying here, and would gladly stay here again."
