We stayed at Pretty in Pink in Desert Hot Springs while working nearby, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We specifically needed something pet-friendly, comfortable, and reasonably priced—and this place delivered on all fronts.The home itself is absolutely charming—thoughtfully designed and tastefully appointed, with a clear attention to detail throughout. Everything was spotless: sheets, towels, kitchen, bathrooms—all impeccably clean and very well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could have needed, and both the living room and bedroom had TVs set to a fireplace display when we arrived, which was a lovely, welcoming touch.We only used one of the two bedrooms and bathrooms (by choice, to keep things easier with the pets), but having the extra space was great. The yard is fully fenced, which was important for us. There are a couple of boards that could use re-securing, but we simply placed chairs in front as a precaution—very minor in the context of an otherwise excellent stay.Communication with the hosts was smooth, responsive, and professional throughout. We were able to add an extra night at the beginning of our stay without any difficulty, and they checked in during our visit to make sure everything was going well. When I mentioned a small issue with the drain stopper, they immediately offered to come and fix it, which I appreciated (though it wasn’t necessary during such a short stay).Overall, this place exceeded expectation
