Good spacious apartment w/ good transport to city

The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city centre and late ones back. I would stay here again, despite the negativees about the TV not working during my one night stay and having to park on gravel because all the proper parking spaces were taken.

PROs: Clean room, well-equipped, pleasant. CONs: Ordered an “Apartment” got a “Studio”. Apparently, both the same, except size, and allocated by the owner. No staff present, no reception, just lock-boxes outside. E-mail sent late with arrival instructions. Had to call lodge number to find out how to get in. Noisy guests until 1:30 am, could hear every word. People smoking in the building. No “WasherS and DryerS” as advertised. Owner said they were down the corridor. One single machine - washer/dryer, unavailable because being used to wash bedsheets. Could not put the keys back in the lock-box at “checkout”, because the owner sent the wrong code. A very mixed experience.
