"By The Bay" is an Adult, establishment & we cannot allow indoor smoking, small children (up to 10 yrs old) or any kind of pets. We are not a Party House! We require Peace and Quiet for all of our Guests. We keep a place You can come back to. AT LEAST A THREE-NIGHT STAY is required, Shorter stays only as fill-ins. Extended stays are welcome.
We follow all of the special cleaning & disinfecting procedures set by the county and state.
"By The Bay" shares one of the most spectacular, ever-changing, Ocean Views on the entire coast with "Tidal Raves", one of the most popular Ocean Front Restaurants. The Wave Action is Unique, Exciting, and Therapeutic, especially during Frequent Winter Storms. We also enjoy our own Marine Garden View during low tides. The Charter Boats come into our view as they find the Whales. We enjoy an Ocean Front City Park across the highway from our property.
The average temperature here on the Central Coast during late Spring through Summer & early Fall is 60 to 70 degrees. We have very few flying insects. A Mosquito on the deck is very rare if ever.
This is a People Watchers paradise. You are going to see a lot of people enjoying the very same, special Oceanview & taking their Family Photos & Videos.
We offer great value & a most Entertaining, Soothing, Therapeutic, ever-changing Ocean View. Don't forget the ever-changing sky! Besides crashing on the rocks, the waves often come from three different directions & explode together, towering as much as 50+ feet. We have our own Water Geyser, out on the large Rock Formation, looking Just like the famous "Spouting Horn", located at the Sea Wall in the central business area of Depoe Bay. During high water, there can be up to 5 waterfalls flowing from that rock formation. Of course, the Ocean puts on a VERY SPECIAL SHOW during the Winter months. Especially during the storms!
There are miles of picture-postcard sandy beaches in both directions, within 2 miles both north & south of Depoe Bay.

You should plan your visits to the beach before noon because the northern Trade Winds average about 10+ MPH in the afternoon during the summer months.
We are allowing a 1 Month's notice for a full refund or a 2 weeks notice for a 50% refund. We have added an Ozone Air Purifier. We are taking additional, special care in our cleaning & disinfecting of all the often-touched surfaces such as counters, chairs, door handles, keypads, bathroom & kitchen surfaces, etc. We wash all our laundry with Hot water using "Tide" with bleach. You may consider bringing your own pillows, for your further comfort.
We are centrally located and within easy walking distance to all of Depoe Bay. Our rentals are at least 60' above The Ocean & only 100 yds. from the spectacular rocky shoreline.

There is the 1/4 mile Sea Wall & the main part of town to the South. Enjoy Whale watching, either from your vacation home or with any one of the many fine charter boats docked in the World's smallest natural, navigable harbor. Depoe Bay is located in an oceanfront, deep water, rocky coastline area.
There are carpeted stairs with a double-hand railing up to the other two sleeping areas. There is a loft & a private bedroom. There is a sanitary porta potty in each of these rooms, for your middle-of-the-night convenience, with the stairs & all.
Gas Log Fireplace, Dell PC, Win10 operating system, fast WiFi Internet service, 46" TV in the living room. 40" TV in King Bedroom. 32" Monitors with DVD Movie Players in both of the other 2 bedrooms. There is a large library of books, games, Movies, and music.
There is a large full kitchen with all newer appliances. Range/Oven, Refrigerator, Microwave, Dishwasher, small electric appliances, cookware & utensils. Everything you will need for cooking.
Washer/Dryer, Ironing board & iron, completely furnished, all bedding and towels included. 32' of continuous Ocean View Windows.16' Ocean view deck with a Weber BBQ. gas grill.
There is a 100x67' secure, fenced-in compound with covered parking on the East side of the home.
There is a one-bedroom, 700 sq ft. Apt. on the ground floor, in the same building, with the entrances on different levels & opposite sides of the building, with the same view, available for 2 Adults.

Two Tribal Casinos, nature trails, "Walk through the Harbor, on past South Salmon creek, over the bridge, then head all the way through the grassy park to the trail Head! Aquariums, Museums, Live theaters, and movie theaters, freshwater lakes, & reservoirs, 4 golf courses, a national outlet mall, Fred Meyer, Safeway, Walmart, Bi-Mart, many fine restaurants, shopping centers & other attractions everywhere. Newport's scenic "Yaquina Bay" Bridge & historic waterfront, 'Oregon Coast Aquarium', OSUs 'Hatfield Marine Science Center & their research Vessel Wecoma, US Coast Guard, NOAA, (Northern Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) are also located in Newport, with several research vessels. There are miles of wonderful public sandy beaches. Depoe Bay is centered 10 miles from both Newport & Lincoln City, 2 hours from Portland PDX, and 1 hour from the state capital of Salem.
