When we booked this (and 2 other Princess lodge stops), I didn’t realize it was tied to the cruise line (and land ‘cruise). We liked it, and was definitley more modern than the other options in the area. Rooms were nice. Drawback was no parking close to your room and no fridge/microwave. A bit warm at first since no ac and blinds were open to sun all day. Would benefit from a few activities on site (ie corn home or horse shoes like some of the other lodges have).

I booked a 2 queen room and they sent us to a one bed room. We had to walk all the way to another further building area for the ‘last room they had left’ with 2 beds. We had to walk or take a shuttle to the main lobbyBuildings are extremely outdated. Service at the check in was very slow with no apparent reason. Ate burgers for dinner at Fanny Qi’s saloon and got food poisoning. Spent the whole night on the toilet. At least they have a nice view…

The hotel was amazing! Beautiful lobby/fireplace area. Everything is spread out and easy to find. Loved our room, rustic, but modern. Restaurant and bar great. Wished we could have stayed longer.

The property is located in a beautiful area with convenient access to nearby dining options. The staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the hotel itself felt outdated and lacked basic amenities. We also experienced plumbing issues, and the toilet was not functioning properly, which affected our overall comfort.

Accommodation is in two storey lodges around the site. We were on the ground floor of one and that made getting the cases in easier but the downside was how much you could hear people upstairs walking around and using the bathroom and they were very early risers! Room & bed comfortable, fairly basic facilities in room but had all you needed. Great location for touring Denali park with free shuttle bus available and the Tundra Wilderness tour we went on picked up from the hotel.

I asked for a quiet room, but the one we stayed was next to the room with a vendor machine, washer and dry, and an ice maker machine. The power went off for three hours, as well as running water in the evening time.

This is the place to stay in Denali National Park. It's very close to the entrance of the park. And the free transportation from the Lodge to the train depot, the Park Visitor Center, the Horseshoe Lake trail runs very often and very efficient. The Lodge is a quaint, beautiful village with cabins and restaurants and walking paths and free shuttle running throughout. Beautiful flower baskets hanging everywhere you look. Not to mention a roaring Alaska river right next to the Lodge. It reminded me of a Disney Village resort but more authentic. Princess has done a great job with this place
