This place is falling apart. And off the cliff. There is no AC or fridge in rooms. You get woken from the porters wheeling tourist bags to catch a bus. Some of the kids didn't speak english. It's for the "cattle" traffic for the train, bus and cruise line. Not a good place to stay if your expecting something nice.

The check in building was awesome. The concept was like a little village and was amazing. The grounds needed some serious upkeep ie paint and bushes/tree and "lawn" maintenance. The room was nice but had peeling paint in a few spots. Most of the staff was nice, but some made us feel like an inconvenience. Overall good experience, but for the price I definitely expected better.

Enjoyed the stay here. Rooms were clean enough, although our room had a wall-in shower for handicap and there was a used towel left behind in the shower. Room had plenty of hot water, they don’t provide microwave or mini fridge but I understand why.

The good: the staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean, beds were comfortable. The view of the Denali National Park was awesome. The location of the hotel is quite close to the Denali National Park. The not so good: the decor was outdated and the furnishings are showing sign of age. The entire property needs an overhaul. The food was mediocre at the two restaurants we ate at and quite expensive for what it is.

Very nice property but I do wish there was something for breakfast or dinner that didnt cost extra as there is already a premium on booking. Luckily theres plenty to get across the street or you can pay. The patio between a and b building is very nice. Staff was a mix between helpful and borderline rude at times. Rooms were very clean. Overall I would stay again but I do believe it could've been a little better for the price.

Beautiful resort style lodge right next to everything Denali. Free shuttles to Denali National Park entry points. The room was clean and well maintained property. We had some issues with keys not working the first couple of times which was later resolved. The only thing I would mention is that the rooms are quite a bit of walk from the entrance, so hauling luggage is a pain. They do provide free cart rides to take you to the room but there’ll be a wait until you find one especially in the busiest season. I still recommend staying here for the convenience and beautiful maintained property.

For being located where the sun doesn’t fully go down the curtains did very little to block out the sun. The beds were horrible I’ve gotten better sleep at a motel 6. No mini fridge to keep anything cold. At $400 a night I would not stay here again.

We stayed for two nights. On the second day, housekeeping entered our room, threw the bedding onto the floor, and did not clean the room at all (I'm not sure if they forgot). After a long and tiring day of travel, it was devastating to return and find the room in such a condition. I have never had this kind of experience at any hotel before.

Room was clean and nice. Pillows were awful. We had to use the bed comforter as a pillow. All the employees were super nice. Many were in training as it is the beginning of the tourist season. The outside area around the Main Dining Room, fencing, path ways were in need of repair.

Housekeeping never showed up. Staff super inexperienced and overwhelmed by the massive influx of cruise passengers. Food was extremely salty. I guess if you are a cruise passenger it makes sense. But when traveling on our own I will avoid Princess hotels due to the massive overcrowding by cruisers

DPL is built as its own ecosystem and has wonderful shops and restaurants. Very close to bike rental, airstrip and bus depot. The row of shops across the street are convenient and provide variety. The only complaints are: 1. There are no fridges or silverware in the rooms. 2. The wonderful lobby of Buildings A and B has a terrible bar to operates at weird hours and has the lamest coffee I’ve had in ages. They should do something about that.
