Amazing location by Plaza de Armas

Lovely little hotel which has an enviable location just off the Plaza de Armas in Cusco. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff were great, they looked after our every need particularly Jorge who deserves the customer service badge of the year! W spend 4 nights here in advance of a 5 day trek and 2 nights upon returning so the hotel stored our luggage for us which was a godsend. Breakfast was great too. All in a very good hotel in an excellent location with brilliant staff. Well done Sonesta.

Stop over for two nights

Stayed there for a tour to Machu Picchu. The hotel was in a great neighborhood, and walking distance to everything. The staff was great and the breakfast was good. The rooms are a bit dated but served the purpose. Internet service was great.

Decent hotel close to the Plaza de Armas

This is a small hotel just meters from the central Plaza de Armas. It is in a old, historic building with no elevator & each room is different; but the couple we saw all were fairly spacious & the bathrooms adequate. The staff was quite friendly & helpful.

In the heart of historic Cusco

The hotel is, quite literally, located one block from the Plaza de Armas and the two most important cathedrals in all of Cusco. Beautiful views from the front of the hotel and absolutely wonderful staff/amenities. Loved everything about this. We could walk everywhere and anywhere and it was so easy to find our way back. I would absolutely stay here again.

Not so great!

Checked in and was told they would be moving us our second night stay without any advanced notice. The front desk didn´t seem concerned about the inconvenience. They were going to move us out of the city center. We finally nogicated the hotel next door, which was Casa Adina. The staff there was great and a much more pleasant experience. This all happened on our first night in Peru, so it wasn´t a great start to the trip, but Case Adina made up for it.

Right off the main square. Nice staff. Didn't get the room I booked and had to complain heavily to have it addressed but finally did but only after half my stay. Nice breakfast. Our room directly above nightclub that apparently is allowed to play music OUTSIDE until 5am on weekends.

My room was much smaller than what was pictured when I booked the hotel. When I raised this with the front desk, they said the picture was wrong and they had no other rooms available. They did not offer to reduce my rate or otherwise address the error.

Great location, friendly staff, smallish room

I stayed in a Sonesta Posada hotel by Lake Titicaca and was impressed by it. Although part of the same chain and for comparable money (the posted rate for the smallest room is $200, or 600 soles, though hotels.com offers really nice discounts - half the price), it had smaller and less comfortable rooms: we were supposed to get two queens (one queen unavailable), but the beds were more like twins. That said, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location unbeatable - close to all major attractions. I'd stay there again if I return to Cuzco.

you can't beat this location

This hotel locates adjacent to Plaza de Armas. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast place opens at 5AM and they serve very good food. Tea is ready at front desk. highly recommended!
