Bearfeet Retreat on Adney Lake

Bright and open 3 bed 2 bath home on quite Adney Lake. Located 15 minutes north of Crosby and 10 minutes east of Crosslake. Amazing water clarity 17 ft plus.

3 bedroom and 2 bathrooms. Sleeps up to 8 per the Crow Wing county permit.

Path to the lake/dock through some natural wetlands. (Wetland is only wet typically in early spring but depends on run/snow melt)

Flat lot with easy lake access summer or winter! Swimming in summer is best further out on the lake. Our shoreline currently is weedy (not hard sand). We do swim with water shoes off the raft but prefer out on the lake off the boat (boat is not included). There is soft muck at the lakeshore. To be clear: Swimming off the boat is best the lakeshore is soft muck/weeds but usable.

Trails for ATVs or snowmobiles are1.5 miles away. They will take you to Crosslake/Emily and beyond.

We have movies, games, bags, poker chips, charcoal grill (limited charcoal provided) and two fire pits to make for a relaxing weekend. Also available for summer use are: 2 large kayaks, 2 kid kayaks, paddle board and a swim mat.

High speed wifi (100mb+) and have smart TVs in each room. Direct Stream is available to give you access to live tv (Ballys Sports is included) Other apps like Apple TV and Disney might be logged in if they do not get logged out. If you have providers feel free to add them while at the home.

Pet friendly with a dog under 50 lbs. Please keep off furniture. Pet fee required. Please clean up after your pet.

Amazing mountain bike trails 15 minutes away in Crosby MN. Great restaurants in Crosslake, Crosby and Emily.

Peaceful getaway for your family in winter or summer. Enhanced cleaning for Covid.

Dock will handle you boat. Ample parking for your trailer and a boat launch .25 miles away.

Dock will be available May - September.

Lovely lake house
A lovely lake house with plenty of different seating areas around the house. We arrived the day after a big storm so we made ourselves helpful cleaning the yard and make a bonfire, we loved it. The house is nice, some furniture in and around the house is a bit run down. However I was not very pleased with the fact that one bunk bed the sheets were not clean and fresh, and I know for sure when I later found candy wrappers in the bed (not from us!) Still we recommend the house! Thanks!

Wonderful weekend getaway
This was our second time staying a wonderful weekend as a family in this beautiful cabin. Enjoyed games and puzzles while watching the sunset across the lake, the frozen lake was fun to explore as well! Well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy meals. Thanks for letting us bring our whole family (including our dog!) for a great getaway. We’ll be back again!!

Highly recommend staying here. Mike was great to deal with and the place was clean and cozy. Great layout for any group and great view of the lake. Short drive to town was convenient while staying in a quiet neighborhood. Will stay again!

Cozy and Secluded - Wonderful Property
While the temperatures outside were cold, the fireplace at Bearfeet Retreat was warm and cozy. The property itself was very clean, and just as described in the listing. Communication and instructions from the owners was great, and crystal clear. A simply gorgeous "grand room" including a kitchen that was delight to cook in. The time of year resulted in a secluded, private feel that is just what we were looking for. Would be keen to come back in the summer when the lake isn't frozen and there are leaves on the trees. In conclusion: highly recommended!

Fantastic Stay

Perfect Getaway
We love this place. This is our 3rd visit. The cabin had everything we needed and a wonderful view of the lake. It was so quiet and peaceful sitting by the campfire in the evening and looking out at the lake.

Perfect get away.
We enjoyed our week stay at the cabin/house. A nice quite location. We were close to CrossLake and went shopping in Nisswa a couple days. The house had everything we needed and more. Can't wait to come back again sometime soon.

Fun little getaway!
We stayed two nights with four kids (1.5, 5, 8 and 10). My oldest daughter enjoyed kayaking and the three older girls had fun swimming off the dock. It was a little mucky and weedy, but they had water shoes and noodles to keep them above the weeds for the most part. The house was nice and clean, with lots of space. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfy. We had a great time!

Restful Lakeside Retreat
My adult daughters and I stayed here together to celebrate Mother’s Day this year. It was lovely in every way. The house and property were very beautiful and well appointed. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. From the cheerful yellow front door welcoming you to the calming lakeside view through soaring picture windows in the great room to the quiet peaceful nights under more stars than we ever get the chance to see in the city. It was a really special place to relax and reconnect with ourselves and each other. I highly recommend it.
