Don’t stay here if you want a private, peaceful experience
Booked this one without reading the fine print. You share the small space with the host’s monther-in-law and it’s the downstairs below the family. Loud kids during the day and night and they had friends over at night. Watch out for the random child that decides to come down in your space too. And the insulin shots in the fridge. Nice shared washer/dryer with the family. The oven doesn’t work but don’t worry you have a toaster oven to cook in that’s sits above the fridge. Our dog had to stay cooped up in our room all day as well due to the unpredictability of this “private” place. Tried to cancel with VRBO but after 2 hours on the phone with customer service they could only comp us a non-existent hotel room for 1 night of our 3 night trip and could not even guarantee a refund. So much for VRBO being a private residence. It was too late to rebook anywhere else so we were stuck in that situation. Because we had no choice but to stay, we couldn’t get our money back at all. In the future, we will be reading the fine print but we recommend that nobody stays here.
