Great Stay

The pictures do not do this cabin justice. It was beautiful throughout. Everything you needed from appliances to spices and towels and shampoo were provided in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. There is lots of privacy and the nearest cabin is several blocks away. The sunset and mountain views off the back deck are amazing. The owner was good to work with if any issues would have come up.

This is our second booking with Evolve and I can’t express how impressed we are by the level of service from both the company Evolve and the rental houses. My teens and I scheduled a trip for Cotopaxi Colorado and this was their first time both in the mountains and also experiencing a rental house using Evolve. Caroline and her Husband (Cabin owners) have a magnificent home with a million dollar plus view. Sun rise or Star watching at night this place is perfect to spend with the ones you love. I asked my kids to tell me what they liked the most so here it goes. Elle “17” they had everything, three different ways to make coffee, even cool mugs. All the plates and even some snacks. Shelby “16” they literally thought of everything, extra pillows, extra blankets, super clean, I loved star gazing at night with my Dad. TJ “16” The mountains outside are beautiful and the wildlife was awesome. Also nice sound system. Dad I am so thankful to have found such a place and Caroline and her husband were absolutely fantastic in providing not only a beautiful place but a heartfelt follow up call and letter to make sure our family was happy. Thank you These memories will last a life time. The Loveless Family

Secluded off grid experience. Restful and quiet

Please read the instructions for getting to this site. They are very detailed and it was a surprise to us when Google Maps was trying to tell us to turn when there was no road. The humming birds were very entertaining we also saw deer come up to the cabin to lick the supplied salt block. The weather was great but we would not want to be this secluded in bad weather. The completely solar powered home was spacious and comfortable. It is at least a 1 hour drive to Salida from this location, so planning your trips into town and bringing food in advance is very good advice. We sat on the deck and gazed at the mountains and sky stretched out in front of us with just a couple of shelters in view. Sitting in quiet reflection was what we enjoyed after a day of fly fishing on the Arkansas River.

Hidden Gem!

Off the regular path but this home is worth the trip. Deer literally walking up to the door and more hummingbirds than you can count. So quiet you can hear your own thoughts. We’ll appointed and plenty of room for a family but secluded from the rest of the world.

Absolute Paradise in June

If you are looking for a ridiculously quiet and relaxing getaway where you can unplug and disconnect from life, this is your spot! The views and overall location was absolutely breathtaking. We had a blast adventuring around their many acres with our 3 year old and 6 year old girls. It is truly off the grid with decent WiFi which added to the adventure. We will absolutely be back!! And the owners were so great to book with and communicate with overall too.

Beautiful sight

Beautiful views, property is well maintained, very relaxing atmosphere. Only missed not being able to do a fire in the outside pit. Property is as described, absolutely amazing views, my children really enjoyed the views, especially my grandson. Thank you for giving me and my family the opportunity to stay in your cabin.

Excellent remote mountain getaway for family

Great mountain getaway. The cabin is very remote, but has all the comforts of home. Very clean and stocked with pretty much everything you need. The view of the mountains is terrific (the pictures don’t do the views justice). The pictures of the cabin are very accurate. The owners were very nice and easy to work with. If we returned to the area we would definitely stay here again. My kids loved it!

Beautiful views!

This property really delivers! The home was beautifully appointed and the views were majestic. The remoteness of the home allows you to enjoy the Mountain View’s without any disruption of noise or light. Sunsets were amazing. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location & property!

This property has everything you might need/want while on a family vacation. We didn't have to go "down the mountain" for anything miscellaneous. It is so quiet & peaceful - we could hear the hummingbird wings while sitting on the back deck, as they came & went from the feeders. During the day we enjoyed watching the deer, rabbits & chipmunks - no bear, but the kids were sure hoping! In the evenings we watched movies & played games. Jeremy & Caroline were the best to work with. Amazing property, amazing weather, amazing views!

Perfect for our family

The cabin was just as it looks in the pictures, only better! It is definitely off grid, up in the mountains and remote. We loved that! Hummingbirds and deer were seen every day. The cabin was spacious and clean. Very much like home away from home. The owners are so very gracious. We had a young infant with us and they went out of their way to make sure we had the extras needed so we did not have to pack up that as well! It is off the beaten path. Be prepared to drive on dirt roads as you get closer to the cabin, but once there.....Heaven! We had a fabulous Summer vacation in the mountains with our family thanks to the Hedges. Sweet family. Hope to cross paths at another time!

Hidden Beauty-- Awesome place!!

Very nice property!! The pictures on the website does not do justice for this beautiful property... We were a family of 8 adults who stayed here for 4 nights and wished we would have booked it for longer. The cabin has all the amenities you would need and much more.... The owners are also very cooperative and helpful and went out of the way to make sure our family was comfortable.
