It is sad that I am having to write this review but Avant Stay leaves me no option. It is the only way for me to convey their lack of prompt communication to our needs. I have no issues with the rental itself however upon checking in there was an item broke and I notified Avant Stay immediately and they insured me it would be fixed that day. No one ever came out to fix the issue. Secondly upon checking out a member of my party had left a bag. I contacted Avant Stay immediately and have sent at least 14 follow ups. I understand that someone checked into the rental right after us and we did not want to disrupt their stay but Avant Stay did not come back with an update to us until almost one week later. Also I never talked to the same person each time I reached out. It was a different person replying via the portal and all had the same answer. They did nothing to help us. When I asked if this could be escalated to the owner to help us they refused. I have never stayed in a rental where they did nothing to help us return our property. Finally when they got back to us almost a week later they were like sorry it’s not there. That’s not possible as we knew exactly where the item was left. I am writing this review in the hope this gets back to the owner as Avant Stays failure to help us reflects badly on the property and owner which is not fair to them. If I was paying Avant stay to manage my home I would want to know how their renters were being treated.
