Great stay in Copenhagen at the WIDE Hotel

We had a lovely stay at the WIDE hotel in Copenhagen. It’s centrally located, nice rooms, very comfortable and well maintained. The staff is absolutely great - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. And they have a nice little bar in the lobby as a bonus. Great hotel and definitely recommended.

Centrally located with helpful staff. Breakfast was good with wide spread selection (scrambled and hard boiled eggs, a few types of cheese, many bread options, deli meat, smoked salmon sometimes available, yogurt, fruits). I got a Superior Double with King bed, which was pretty small. Hotel didn’t post sqft in Expedia but I’d say it’s 180 sqft, definitely under 200. The bathroom although tiny is quite new. The sink was so small i had to be careful not to spill water everywhere. Decent water pressure. Copenhagen hotels generally seem expensive and small so if after price comparison this hotel seems reasonably priced like it was when I booked then go for it. Since I got a good price booking early, and comparably other places were more expensive I am glad I booked here. As a few people mentioned there is loud music from bar/restaurant across the street but i was fine with it given they always stopped playing before 9p, even on weekends (or at least tuned it down way low that it was barely audible with room windows closed).

My companion got a big room with a huge bed yet mine was tiny with a small single. Horrible memory foam pad on the bed, not a proper mattress. Terrible pillows too. My expedia rewards weren't honoured, so i wouldn't stay again.

Very good hotel in downtown Copenhagen.

This is a very nice hotel and excellently located in downtown Copenhagen. We could walk everywhere and there is transit nearby if you wanted to use it. The room was clean and the breakfast very good. I would only say that they should update their website. It said they had a laundry, but it was only dry cleaning, plus it said there was a restaurant on site, but except for breakfast, there was not. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Decent base for a long weekend trip.

Decent hotel with a lovely hot breakfast, albeit the food was a bit samey on a day to day basis. Pretty close to everything, and easily walkable (5 minutes) from Central Station if you get the train or bus form the airport. Staff were a mix of happy and grumpy, but not too bad overall, and always happy with us as we greet everyone with a smile :) Room was a bit pokey,with no views to speak of, and the bed was pretty firm but comfy enough. Pillows were however horrendous and more like sofa cushions than pillows. We enjoyed our stay, but probably wouldn't go back to the same hotel if we retuned to Copenhagen again.

The hotel was good. Nice reception area and good location. I was upgraded to an apartment which was amazing (although I think technically under a different brand). The breakfast didn’t live up to the plush feel of the hotel - quite basic/ limited and the table was a bit like a canteen. And I couldn’t find the toaster! The basement baggage storage was accessible to anyone who had a key so not great for storing valuables (although in theory you could leave these with reception). Allow extra time in the morning if you need to leave the case as the lift was busy. Despite these minor things, I would consider staying again (although I didn’t see what the normal rooms were like!)

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and professional, making us feel instantly welcome. The room was stylish, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed – Scandinavian minimalism at its best, with just the right touch of luxury. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept soundly each night. The location couldn’t be better – walking distance to Tivoli Gardens, great restaurants, and central Copenhagen attractions. Despite being so central, the hotel felt peaceful and relaxing, like a hidden gem in the heart of the city. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Copenhagen.

Positives - the hotel lobby and rooms were nicely decorated. The staff were helpful and friendly. Good central location. Nice shower. Negatives - the room was dusty in places, particularly the bathroom cabinet area and near the tv. The room, and bathroom were smaller than expected. There was building works going on in the street which made it look untidy and generated some noise early each morning. There is also a live outdoor music venue opposite the hotel, which is exceptionally loud and has events on everyday until 9pm.
