We were here for 7 nights as a family of 3 in a 4 bed room.
Pros:
- Staff is super welcoming and kind
- Rooms are tight but not shoebox tiny
- Location is a bit far flung but it's a 20 min walk to anything you could possibly need, and grocery is a 6 min walk away
- you can't really hear any neighboring room noise
- breakfast is a great value for all that you get
Cons:
- can be very noisy with traffic noise if your window is open, but a brown noise app helps a ton
- no AC if you're here in the summer you'll be VERY hot. We had some days in the 70s and the nights were too hot to sleep comfortably. The window slants open, so there isn't any air flow unless your main door is also open
- kitchen is clean but the nonstick pans are in awful condition - I understand it's shared but they're unusable to make a fried egg. The fridges were stinky.
My biggest complaint:
- the mattress and pillows and mattress pads MUST be cleaned/deodorized MUCH more often. Travelers have all different hygiene levels, a lot of young school groups stay here or people just don't use deodorant. If they don't bathe and stink and go to sleep, the bed is *going* to stink. The fresh bedding is generally very clean smelling (although I needed to get extra sets bc some of the freshly washed sheets stank). And the mattresses and pillows could be very stinky. It took me several replacements and stripping the pads off the bed to get the very pungent body odor smells out of our room.
