For what I paid the place is fine and I didn’t expect too much. It’s old, it’s not perfect, etc but I needed a bed and a shower and it did the job. If you’re expecting more, don’t book there.

This was one of the worst hotels I have ever booked. Upon walking in to the room I rented, I walked right out and booked another room somewhere else. Unfortunately, the front office clerk/manager charged me for one night and was extremely rude and unprofessional when I tried to dispute this charge. If you are ever in a pinch, do NOT stay here. I booked a non-smoking room and it absolutely reeked of smoke. The area also isn't too great. I did not feel safe staying there, which is why I left the premises after only taking a few steps into the room. Luckily, Sam Houston Inn was closeby and had very similar prices but with much higher quality in cleanliness and service.

There was hair all over the pillows that wasn’t mine. I have red hair and was finding black and blonde strands. There were stains all over the bedding as well as some cigarette burns even though I picked a non smoking room. The room itself was fine, it was just the dirty bed. It was affordable and that’s what I needed, but i definitely will be spending a little more money for a better place next time.

So I ended up not being able to sleep that night The service of the customer service at the front counter was amazing she noticed we checked in very late she came down was taking care of us while we were waiting to come inside to check in there was a gentleman that walked up on us it was me and another woman at 2:00 in the morning it was not okay I was very alarmed and but took care of matters all night long that same person that walked up on me and two other males were trying actively during the evening to break into my card where I actually never slept I kept walking in and out of that room just to get them to go away from where I was I watched them consistently it was not a good feeling I probably wouldn't stay there again if I'm by myself late at night I'd stopped in we were there for about 3 hours

Check in was slow the young man need help there was a event of some sort going on and he was having to have other customers wait while he looked something up or called someone on the phone my room was on the inside looking at a drained swimming pool no coffee in room or offered in lobby I'll attach pictures

The property has gone down hill in the past few years! This use to be our go to place but now it’s not. I fell when trying to access the room and I reported it to the office and there was absolutely no remorse/apology whatsoever.
