Upon checking in the front desk attendant “Esmeralda” was extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ve stayed at other Hampton hotels but this was by far thee worst, as I sat in the lobby I could hear the way she was speaking to her co workers, which was so unprofessional she didn’t notice me sitting there, she was also talking poorly about other customers after they walked away!!!! Very inappropriate! I then stepped out & after returning there was another person named “Heidi” whom was just as rude as the last person!!!! Quite disappointing! I then was put into a very low grade room because I was told that I used a 3rd party reservation. Which shouldn’t matter. As I spoke with Heidi about this, she became super defensive and standoffish. I showed her my reservation for which room I order to ensure that I d be getting the correct room, she continued on telling me there’s nothing she can do about the room, basically cutting me off mid sentence to try and explain something I feel she really didn’t know anything about. She was upset at that point. When arriving in our room, the view was horrible. and the room was terrible! It’s obvious they don’t like people who use hotels.com or any other discount service. The way I was being treated was unacceptable and unprofessional. These two people were what you would refer to as “ Ghetto”!!!! I should have went with the Marriott Courtyard down the street. SMH
