Mediocre at best!

I made my reservation in advance. Upon my arrival, I was told that no rooms were available. I checked in at 3:00 and was taken aback that no rooms were available. The soft-spoken agent made some phone calls and found a room that was way in the back and far from the parking lot. The room itself was okay. It was clean, but this hotel is very old, and it definitely showed. The thing that has me bugged is that I put a 100-dollar deposit down for incidentals. I was then charged the amount for the stay, but after 4 phone calls, I still have not received that deposit back. I probably won't stay there again. Pretty mediocre customer service, okay rooms, and difficult to get in toufh with anyone who can assist you.

Wonderful first time stay!

It was my first time staying at this hotel. I was in town for the Memorial Day weekend to visit family. The location was good and not far from my relatives home. The hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and welcoming. The inside decor of the hotel is pleasing with various trees, plants, water streams and fountains. In the evening the trees are lit up with blue lights which makes the ambience in the evening intriguing and additionally beautiful. The room has a microwave and mini fridge and Keurig with coffee and tea pods, which is awesome. There is a indoor mini market area which is open 24 hours. Also an on site cafe which has the daily continental breakfast (bagels, croissants or biscuits, oatmeal or pancakes, fruit, coffee, cold water and hot water for tea. Breakfast is free for guests. I overheard a staff tell someone if not a guest then it is $10. I think for $10 they should include bacon and potatoes. Just a suggestion. There is an ice machine available down the hallway of rooms. I stayed on the bottom floor and it was quiet. I didn't try out the pool area and on the day of check out I noticed it was taped off. So maybe for servicing after the weekend. The bed was comfortable and had comfortable pillows. There is plenty of hangers and dresser drawer space. There is a lounge chair in room with an ottoman and small side table. There is also a desk and desk chair. Met the manager and him and his staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Definitely would stay again.

For the most part it was a nice stay. Loved the lobby & the pathway to our wing at night. Lighted trees, waterfalls & more. My only dislike was the shower, low water pressure & the shower head too low. Staff super friendly, im thinking the room we were in wasnt remodeled.

Staff were nice. Obviously, the rooms are a bit old but still okay. Breakfast was terrible, I had some fruit and went on my way. Most likely staff was behind about 30 minutes and still needed to bring everything out.

I clearly have the do not disturb sign on my door and the house keeping lady kept knocking and then opened the door while I’m laying in bed. What is the point of the busy sign when they don’t respect it ? The stay was the worst I have had anywhere in California. Then the WiFi doesn’t work inside the rooms and you don’t even get proper cell reception in your room. Called front desk 3 times no one answered Worst stay ever. Will never stay here again.

This hotel seems more like a motel. Outdated and dirty. There was pubic hair on the toilet, splatter marks on mirrors and mucus smears on windows. The walls and lamp shades had stains, there was mold on the window sills, and carpets were stained. To top off the most grimy experience, their “free” breakfast I was not able to eat because on the first bite to pancakes there was a 4 inch black curly hair that I spit out and did not want to touch anything else. That too, was gross. I’ve never wanted to leave a hotel as fast as I wanted to leave that one. Definitely not a 3 star hotel.
