Pet Friendly cabin w/ fireplace and mountain views

The perfect base camp for Rocky Mountain adventure and relaxation year-round! Located on two acres with its own aspen grove, in close proximity to hiking, fishing, rafting, and skiing. The cabin has two large decks for taking in the sunrise with a cup of coffee, viewing the stars, and enjoying time with friends and family. Also includes a fenced in yard for your dogs to romp! We hope our cabin can be a way for you to truly escape and experience the beautiful Colorado Rockies!
The space
The main floor includes a full kitchen stocked with coffee, tea, and filtered water (kitchen also includes dishes, keurig coffee maker, blender, and toaster), living area with TV (Roku/Netflix available), pull-out couch, and gas fireplace. Down the hall you’ll find a laundry room, full bathroom, bedroom with queen bed, and bedroom with 1 full bed and 1 single bed. A large wrap-around deck opens off the first floor, which is connected to the fenced in yard. The second floor includes the master bedroom with king bed and en-suite master bath with shower and whirlpool tub. An adjustable height desk and comfortable desk chair provide a dedicated work space. A second large deck opens off of the master bedroom.

You will have access to the entire two acre property and home.

This was a very family getaway. And out furry friends loved the hikes in the mountains and watching all the neighborhood deer grazing nearby.

This is a beautiful cabin inside and out, very clean, quiet and relaxing. The upper deck was a great place to have morning coffee and enjoy the wonderful view. The lower deck was a great place to relax in the shade of the aspens while watching our dogs play in the fenced yard. Communication with the host couldn't have been better.

I can’t say enough about the pet friendly accommodations!! The wrap around porch is connected to a secure fenced area, so my dogs felt comfortable right away. Normally our little rescue, Gracie, doesn’t pee or poop for two days!! She did both as soon as we got there, and she was enthralled by all the scents in the yard and on our hikes. As for me, the quiet peacefulness surrounding us was exactly what I wanted. The upper deck is the best, although our timing had a lot of rain and clouds, so I was never able to star gaze like I wanted. The whole house was impeccably clean and felt like home immediately.
Nearby state forest, which we practically had to ourselves.

Base Camp

We arrived at Base Camp and everything was set up nicely for us! The view from the top deck (off masters room) was breathtakingly spectacular! Watching the sunrise and sunset over the mountains was such an experience! And we got to see a mule deer grazing in the backyard one night! Host was easy to work with and answered any questions before we could even ask them. She sent a wreath of information from driving directions to where the closest grocery store was.The only drawback we had was the high altitude. We had never been to the mountains before and didn’t realize it was almost 10,000 feet above sea level, nor did we realize that our bodies weren’t made for that! We did end up leaving 2 days early as we were struggling with the high altitude. This was of NO fault to the host! If not for the high altitude, we would definitely come back again. If Kelly has other homes, we would definitely work with her again!Thank you!!!!

Our second perfect stay!

We recently stayed in this beautiful cabin for a second time, and we loved it just as much as our first stay. The views are wonderful, the cabin is so completely comfortable, and communication with the host is prompt. It is easy to feel right at home here. We hope to stay again in the future.
