"Staff was great at fixing the problems… however not sure I’d return. There were just some basic issues maybe should be addressed as regular Maintenance instead of a guest having to ask…"

"Air conditioner broken at our room on Aug 5, 2026. The front office lady was trying to fix it by turning off and on, however it didn't fix the issue. We spent a night in a warm steamy room as there was no other rooms available in a hotel to move to."

Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Columbus/Near Fort Benning
"Excellent customer service with recently renovated rooms. Everything is immaculate and found the rooms to be better than comparable and even higher-priced hotels. Very close proximity to Fort Benning for those seeking out accommodations for Army graduation. I'm not a breakfast person, so as long as there's coffee, I'm happy. Plenty of restaurants in the area and Doordash easily delivers directly to the rooms. I'm a bit picky when it comes to hotels and this one was absolutely perfect in almost every way. It's highly unlikely I'll return to Columbus following my son's basic training graduation, but if I ever do, I'd definitely stay here again. Note: I see some people refer to the immediate surrounding areas as being "not great". I live outside of Baltimore and travel there and to DC frequently. I never felt unsafe and I'm a woman. The immediate area isn't easily walkable (major highways intersecting nearby), but it's still close to many stores, restaurants, etc. Just like any place, lock your car doors and be aware of your surroundings, but, again, I felt completely safe here! Also, military families are told to stay away from Victory Drive. It's not that bad to me, but I wouldn't be walking out there at night. Just like adjacent to many military bases, there's always a strip that contains strip clubs, bars, drugs and prostitutes. No big surprise and no big deal. Just stay away from these areas (unless this is what you're actually seeking out)."
