I did not enjoy this stay at all. The rooms were dirty and outdated. The staff was very loud and not friendly at all. I have stayed in the DoubleTree in Tallahassee FL several times and each time was better then the last. This is the reason I chose this hotel BUT boy was I wrong about this one.. Will never stay here again. I was not worth the money at all.

I need to know how to get a refund. I booked last night. When I got to the hotel they did not have a room available. I ended up driving to Auburn and paying a lot more at a different hotel

Could be good, but...

...But it really needs to be updated almost across the board. That's not always bad, but here it is. The mattress was not seated on the frame correctly, so the frame stuck out at the end for that nice middle of the night ankle strike. Worse, there was a party in the ballroom that night. They wanted the party entering and exiting through the front doors, so they zip tied the other exits closed... I went to the front desk and alerted them that they were violating fire code and they did not care at all. The lack of care was maddening. All in all, it could be a great hotel, but as it is, it is not worthy of the DoubleTree brand. Avoid this hotel until they engage in a serious remodel and aggressively retrain the staff.
