You could tell the hotel was under renovations because there was no sign outside or inside the place. It looked really dark & dull. The hotel rooms didn’t numbers on the outside of them, including mine

I was very disappointed with my stay. It started with a phone call I made to let them know I would be checking in late. I was on the phone for over 15 minutes and ended up hanging up because it took so long. The employees that met me at the desk for check in barely looked at me and barely spoke to me. There was no hospitality whatsoever. The building was very dingy and run down throughout. When I got to the room it was also very dreary looking. Neither the sink nor the tub drained water well. The bathroom had sink plumbing all exposed - not aesthetically pleasing at all. The dark out curtains would not close. We went to the front desk and nobody seemed concerned. We asked for paper clips to try to shut the drapes. On the evening we were leaving I asked about a late check out. The front desk seemed annoyed at my question. I was told to call back on the day of my departure. I was having this conversation in the early morning of my departure. It was 1:30 on the morning of my check out. I said when am I supposed to make this call. My check out is in a few hours. They were extremely unhelpful so we just checked out at the normal time.
