"The hotel was closed. I could not even get in the parking lot. I had to make other arrangements at another hotel, which cost me twice as much. I’m not happy with this at all and it doesn’t sound like I’m gonna be getting a refund for quite some time either."

Stoney Creek Hotel Columbia
"Ok so keep in mind it is what you make of it :) ... only con we had was the door frame to the balcony & right inside the door under the carpet was rotting & soft or gone. However we were just careful around that area & tested the balcony & it was solid. Check in was quick & they were really nice. She let us know about the back door so we had less walking. We asked about breakfast & she showed us where it would be the next day. So we ventured out & around to the back of the building for our room. The elevator was about 15 steps in the back door & our room was about 20 steps from the elevator. We ended up in the Anglers room. It reminded us of our trip to South Dakota with the ponderosa pine bed & breakfast we stayed at, The room was clean & i didnt feel like i had to break out a black light & check stuff. The tub & shower were clean, The bed was good & soft & we absolutely loved the fireplace, FYI it is not just for looks. Hubby is always cold now. First thing he did was cozy up to the fireplace & settle in for a nap after our long trip. It was kind of odd to only have one towel by the hot tub & one by the bathroom but we made it work. I liked the fact the mini fridge had double doors, so the freezer was separate. There was also a pod coffee maker (we dont drink coffee lol) & a microwave. In walking down to breakfast we did see popcorn in one of the halls but i'm not sure where it came from. Could have been a kid having fun or a fit. We will definitely be back."
