This was the perfect spot to see the sights of Normandy! The house was immaculate. The view was incredible! Access to the sites of Normandy was so close. We rode everyday, enjoying the beauty of small villages and the beautiful fields. We will long remember this trip. For American travelers, bring something to use to make ice if you visit any time other than summer. They don’t sell ice and there were no ice trays.

The home was even better than we anticipated. Phillipe greeted us and showed us how the house operated. It had everything anyone would need, washer and dryer, both American and European coffee makers, tea kettle, all modern and new appliance, and the list goes on.

The location could not have been better. It felt surreal to be staying right on Omaha Beach. The ocean is literally visible from the couch in the house. Incredible view. House has a driveway and easy parking area. House is very clean and seems new. We loved being in a more secluded area. If you prefer to be more in town and "close to the action," this would not be the place for you. We bought groceries in Bayeux (except grocery store was closed on Sunday when we arrived so we had to go on Monday). Our host was responsive. The only minor downsides were the mattress was not comfortable and there were some amenities we didn't get such as shampoo, soap, kitchen cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper to last our stay, and others. If you stop at a grocery store, you will need to get everything you would need to use during your stay. Overall this place is fabulous.

The perfect holiday home

We enjoyed every minute in this lovely, modern cottage. The view was absolutely stunning, we have never before been so close to the ocean and couldn't get enough of sitting on the terrace to watch the waves and beach life.

Great house on Omaha beach

This is a lovely little beach house with everything you need for a short stay. The location is stunning and the owners friendly and helpful. The house was spotlessly clean and nicely furnished and the gardens relaxing especially the hammock. A perfect base for viewing D-Day sights there is even a German bunker and battery in the grounds!

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine. La maison est idealement située, bien équipée dans un style épuré avec une vue panoramique sur la mer. Qu'il est bon de voir la mer peu importe le temps et l'heure, prendre son petit dej ou ses repas dans cette petite maison pleine de charme. Nous nous sommes régalés du lever au coucher du soleil, avons profiter à la fois de la nature et de ces plages marquées par l'histoire. La proximité avec les nombreux sites et complexes historiques nous a permis de decouvrir bien plus que nous le pensions. Et le retour a demeure nous a apporté apaisement et relachement. Nous avons apprécié l'avenance de nos hôtes ainsi que leur maison construite sur une terre familiale, moment de partage apprécié.Tout est dans leur descriptif et cette photo qui fait rêver n'est pas une publicité mensongère, elle est en réalité loin de la vérité... Elle nous a arraché un Whouaaaa tellement c'est beau. Ouvrez la porte et laissez vous bercer pas les vagues, fermez la et ecoutez le silence tout en gardant à vue la beauté du lieu.Un grand merci, c'est un beau souvenir.

Ein echtes Juwel am Omaha Beach – absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Haus ist wirklich ein kleines Juwel – die Lage direkt am Strand des Omaha Beach ist einfach unschlagbar. Nur ein kurzer Weg den kleinen Hügel hinunter, und man steht mit den Füßen im Sand.Das Haus selbst ist in einem Top-Zustand: modern eingerichtet, sehr gepflegt und mit einer wunderschönen Terrasse, auf der man wunderbar entspannen kann. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt.Unsere Woche in diesem Haus war einfach traumhaft. Der Gastgeber war superfreundlich und flexibel – auch unser Wunsch nach einer sehr frühen Abreisezeit war überhaupt kein Problem.Wir sind begeistert und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Eine klare Fünf-Sterne-Empfehlung!

Bonjour Philippe, nous repensons avec joie à la semaine en Nomandie dans votre maison. La maison est incroyable et l'emplacement est magnifique.
