Disliked: Cleanliness
The online pictures must be a few years old because the one we ended up staying in did not look as clean in person. We were switched, by the host, from the cottage I initially booked, Hullabaloo, to the Golden Cottage, because he said there was a water issue he wanted to work on in Hullabaloo. The front door would not open fully. The floor tiles were cracked. The ceilings had water damage spots, the extra linen in the closet was dirty and smelled like cat food, there was a hole in the wall behind the bathroom door in the bedroom, the bathroom was clean but really small, there was no batteries in one of the TV remotes, the freezer was frozen over, and a few other things. It just was not as nice and clean as the pictures; definitely older and in need of repair and some TLC. Communication with the host was good and to be honest, we did not reach out to them with our concerns because we got in really late on the night we booked and the next day was full with Ring Day activities. It is VERY convenient for A&M activities if all you want is a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in.
