The front staff was attentive, quick and kind. The hotel lobby was small but clean. The rooms were clean, the mini fridge adequate, and the drains were not backed up. The few things I didn't like were the gritty sheets, too fluffy pillows and the smell of the room upon entering. The AC wasn't on so the room smelled musty until we got it cooled down. The breakfast area could have been cleaner but the food itself looked well prepared. Overall, it was one of the cheaper hotels at $117, still overpriced, but it was clean and felt safe.

I don't normally leave reviews, but, wish someone would have so that I could have chosen a better place. Check in was fine- three family members standing around talking- fine. We hurried to the pool- my 9 year old only had 20 minutes to swim! The pool was freezing cold. Now, it is July, but, cold on a different level. He wouldn't go in beyond his knees. He started pointing out all of the dead cockroaches around the pool. One of them started kicking his legs and we were done with the pool. When we left our room, there was a kid (16-20 years old) with a folding chair sitting beyond where the security cameras are watching the parking lot. The door into the building didn't latch. The kid was there for at least an hour. I made sure to park under the security cameras, but, the kid was just sitting there for no reason. Ok. Fine. We requested a room up and away from others. They put us beside a woman with 3 young children (perhaps the employee from downstairs?) even though there were only 5-6 cars in the parking lot and we saw no one else while staying there. Lastly, they sent us a text in the morning asking us what time we were leaving- in 15 minute increments- will you be leaving at 8:15, 8:30. 8:45, etc. That was very rude and definitely did not make us feel welcome. I don't leave bad reviews but this place was just too much. Dead cockroaches, some shady kid near parking lot and unlatching second entry, freezing pool and harassment to leave property.... Will not stay again

My room was the first one off the lobby, which shared a wall with the kitchen. I got in late since I had to drive to Colby after I worked a full day and was woken up by banging and clanging on the other side of the wall I was sleeping against at 4:45 am. It continued for 20-30 minutes and made it impossible to fall back asleep while the staff prepped for breakfast. I understand that kitchen noises are loud sometimes, but this was excessive and directly on the other side of the wall I was sleeping on. It made for a very short night of sleep since I had to get back on the road and drive more. Now I know I'll never want another room directly next to the lobby ever again.

The room was fine, staff was friendly. The pool was so warm it was like a hot tub. A hot breakfast was served. There was only one negative. I was in room 101 which is right next to the breakfast room. At 4:30 am the staff started getting breakfast out. The wall is so thin that I could here every cupboard door or drawer open, ever pan set down. If you are assigned room 101, ask for a different room.
