The room was quiet, clean and pleasantly decorated. It was on the 4th floor at the back of the building. The location was easy to find in the heart of the attractions. The breakfast was exceptional with lots of choices. From afternoon to midnight there are pastries and beverages for free in the lounge.

Great place to stay in Coimbra. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The property is fantastic with terrific views, too. There were a couple aggressive panhandlers (beggars) near the property, but we still rate this hotel 5 stars, so we loved it.

This property was perfect in every way. Many restaurants, great walking to all sites. A short and interesting walk to the university. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The only criticism (and this would have been a deal-breaker had we known ahead of time) is COMPLETE lack of bathroom privacy. All glass walls and doors!

This is a lovely and eclectic hotel. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The breakfast and afternoon tea were fine dining quality. Communication by the hotel about local events that may disrupt our stay was communicated far in advance. We had an absolutely lovely stay!

The staff and breakfast on rooftop were great. We enjoyed afternoon snack with a wonderful view. Although the room was clean, the hotel needs to replace the carpet. There was a large stain in our room. The location was great and a walkable distance to many restaurants, the river and university.
