Ahoy Matey is a darling classic beach cabin in Tierra Del Mar with a fun pirate playhouse. This home is cozy but spacious and is full of interesting décor, games, toys and furnishings. It is a classic family beach cabin that has been cherished and enjoyed over the years, making it the perfect place to relax and create some new great memories. It is safely situated on a quiet, dead-end street, with a quick 1/2 block walk to the beach access. The back yard is mostly fenced and has a super fun and creative pirate ship play area off of the sheltered back deck. There are toys, games, cable TV, WIFI making this a fantastic family choice.

Layout:
Downstairs entry has living room, dining area with woodstove, kitchen, bedroom with double bed and a full bath with shower. There is back deck access off of the kitchen. Upstairs has another living room area with a double futon, full bathroom with shower, bedroom with queen bed. Washer and dryer are in the accessible part of the garage (most of garage is locked off to guests).

Neighborhood:
The village of Tierra Del Mar is a small community of traditional beach homes 3 miles north of Pacific City along the Three Capes Scenic Route. There are several quiet lanes lined with both historic cabins and larger beach homes that all lead to direct beach access. All homes in Tierra Del Mar are a quick, easy walk to the beach. The beach here is quiet and long—beachcombers can walk for hours down this lengthy stretch that is relatively undiscovered. It is a good spot for beachcombers who often find agates and Japanese glass floats. Sand Lake Recreation Area is 4 miles to the north.

Cancellation Policy:
1/2 the total cost of the booking is subject to forfeiture if reservation is canceled or changed within 30 days of arrival. 100% of rental rate is charged if cancelled (or no-show) within 14 days of arrival. If the house is fully rebooked by another renter, cancellation charges (less $35) will be refunded. Reservation cancellation fee is $35. (If you book with a 3rd party, different charges may apply).

Occupancy Note:
Occupancy rules are strictly enforced and apply to the entire property during the stay. Additional day-use guests may be allowed with management pre-approval. After your booking is confirmed, you will be sent the full rental contract and terms.

Perfect for two couples

Fantastic space for two couples to share as you’ll each have your own floor! It was great to be able to spread out and relax, but then come together for meals and game nights around the kitchen table. A super comfy place.

Ahoy Matie Beach house W/Pirate Ship Playhouse in Tiera Del Mar

Our family enjoyed this comfortable beach house, it’s great that it’s on a dead end road with easy beach access points just 2 blocks from the home, it has a fenced back yard for our furry family members, a washer and dryer and it’s located in a quiet neighborhood. The pirate ship playhouse was in need of some maintenance. We really enjoyed Tiera Del Mar

Quiet getaway

Great house! Great stay! Nice quiet neighborhood. Bunnies outside. Short walk to the beach. We could hear the ocean from the house. Washer and dryer was very useful. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. Thanks so much!

Great house and close to beach

We loved everything about the house. It has a lot of charm and beautiful decorations. There is a lot of space inside the house and a small fenced backyard that we let our dogs visit while we sat outside with them. There are local bunnies all over the place including in the backyard as well as hummingbirds! The whole area was VERY quiet and we were respectful of the neighborhood. The house was stocked with everything you could need including some dog bowls. The walk to the beach is down a dead-end gravel road and not very long at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will hopefully be back one day!

Terrific House!

I will start by saying that the house and location are terrific. I loved the beach and how close the house is to beach access. The house is comfortable and spacious. My complaint is with the management company. You have to pick up and drop off the keys in town, as others have pointed out. Nbd, it was on my way, but something to consider if it isn’t. But in a time when we are all so focused on cleanliness, I was so disappointed that the house wasn’t cleaned upon arrival. There were dead flies on the carpet, a used bar of soap in the shower and.. gasp, poop in the toilet. Makes you wonder if things were really getting cleaned at all’s

Great location and fenced back yard.

This property is 4 houses from our favorite beach. It is a cozy home with comfortable beds. The fenced back yard with fun ship playstructure is nice for little ones. The home had cleanliness issues, but the staff was concerned, responded with care and I am certain these issues won't happen again. You have to go to the rental company location in Pacific City for check in.

Relaxing getaway

Nice cozy house, close to quiet beach and sitka sedge walking trails. Kids loved the ship play structure in the yard. We enjoyed playing family games by the wood stove in the cool evenings. Recommend clearing some of the blackberries in the yard.
