"So of course, this is an older hotel but unlike other nearby properties, this one has been maintained very well. The beds and furniture are of excellent quality, the carpet is not sticky like a recent stay I had in Elk City. The front desk clerk was exceptionally helpful and he knew that the ice machine was out so he walked over to the restaurant and got a bag of ice for me to refill my cooler, which was unexpected and very appreciated. There is an extension on the shower head so the water comes down at me instead of straight out into my shoulders like another recent property I experienced. Also plenty of consistent hot water and pressure. My only gripe is a lack of tissue dispenser or tissues in that particular room, but the toilet paper was sufficient. Others might be upset that the hairdryer was missing, but the bracket on the wall was still there so it might have been a recent vacancy event for that amenity. I do like being able to park in view of my room and in this case I was able to park directly in front of the door to the room, which was even better. The bed is far enough away from the front wall that the air-conditioning noise was not bothersome, which I also appreciated. As a rest and recovery stop, it was perfect for me."
