This place was very peaceful and looked exactly like the site photos. It was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Ellen and Travis were very attentive. Highly recommend.

Great get away

The property was great!! Wish the neighbors would of been ok letting us walk on their docks but besides that the house was amazing

Solitude Stay in Clermont

We had a great experience. Home was well appointed and decorated, the pool and outside area was amazing. View of the lake to watch the boats and water skiers. Neighborhood was quiet and very nice. We were at a destination wedding at the Great Escape in Clermont and loved coming back to this solitude to relax. Wonderful stay!

Fishing Trip

This home was perfectly located in relation to the lakes we were fishing for 3 days. It was clean and comfortable in a nice neighborhood. The pool and jacuzzi were nice bonuses to come home to after a long day on the water. Our host was willing to go above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house and location…

What a beautiful house and location for me and my husband to relax and enjoy the city of Clermont! So close to the parks and the quaint village of historic downtown Clermont. We were able to enjoy several restaurants and we even had a chance to browse the real estate market in the area for a future move. The owners were so easy to communicate with and we even got advice for a local hospital that unfortunately was needed. I look forward to our return and we would definitely stay at this location again. Thank you for your warm hospitality! Ray and Kelly

Relaxing weekend on a beautiful lake

We had a lovely relaxing weekend on this beautiful lake with another couple and our labradoodle. All of us enjoyed the VERY clean and nicely appointed house and pool. Our friend took his canoe out on the lake every morning and evening to fish and enjoy nature, and we all enjoyed his stories of the wildlife he encountered on his trips. Everything we needed was available to us in the house, and a small issue of a light fixture that wasn't working was quickly taken care of. We would rent this house again without hesitation!

Lovely home

If peaceful is what you are looking for, this is the place. Beautiful view of Sawmill Lake, lovely pool, lovely back patio, and very comfortable, tastefully decorated home. Super clean and inviting. Hosts were friendly and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Only thing we would suggest is that since visitors have no boat access to the lake, the host should consider having a couple of kayaks, paddle boards on hand for guests to use. Also, it would have been perfect if there had been a sandy beach area cleared at the shoreline by the lake to sit and enjoy the view. We brought our own kayaks and having an area free from water grasses would have made launching them a bit easier. Overall, it was wonderful, didn't even have to leave for groceries... Publix and Walmart delivered within an hour. Try out Cantinas Mexican restaurant if you visit. Best carnitas I've ever had.

Clean, bright, and gorgeous views...

Overall our stay was bliss! The house was clean and equipped with everything that we needed, including lots of towels and kitchen tools (was pleased there was a blender!) My favorite part was definitely sitting in the lanai watching the lake, people quietly fishing, and the infrequent water skiers that were enjoying the water. It was quiet and tranquil. Just what we needed. I loved the main-floor laundry, and kitchen bar area. Master bedroom and bathroom was huge! Security was easy getting in and locking up on the way out, and the lounge chairs were perfect for watching sunsets. The only thing I might recommend is adding some board games or other tabletop games that families could enjoy. We had a storm roll through one day, followed by a couple of days of clouds and fog, so some games for those inside days would have been welcomed. Other than that, everything was amazing. Highly recommend. ❤️

Lake/pool house

We are return visitors to this property and have enjoyed our stay both times. My only suggestion is to remove the overgrowth from the lake (like several properties in the vicinity have done) as it makes it difficult to enter for paddle boarding/kayaking, etc. Beautiful place with comfortable accommodations!

AMAZING Place, and PERFECT Trip... could not have asked for a better experience ❤️

This was my first time booking a House and a trip like this, and even though I saw the listing said NEW, I was a bit nervous at first, especially not being able to read any reviews, so I thought I’d be the first, to hopefully put anyone else’s nerves at ease, I had never been to this part of Florida but honestly it was the pics of the house that originally sold me, was exactly what I was looking for, peace and quiet and a place to get my work done, so why not do it by the pool! First of all the house is EXACTLY like what you see in the photos, absolutely beautiful, and everything you need has been thought of,, even thou it says listed by rental agency, the owner and family was readily available, I got in late at night, and had trouble with the door combo (complete operator error on my part) but called Travis and she was over within minutes to let me in, and show me around, even brought breakfast one morning, and invited me over for Easter dinner, really welcoming, everyone is SOOO nice, all the neighbors are AMAZING too, this is a ski lake, so much fun to watch all the skiers practicing on the course, lake is Still very quiet and peaceful though, could not have asked for better experience; and I will DEFINITELY be back! Recommend this place 100%.

Family 2022 Vacation in FL

Clean and modern setting. Friendly hostess. About 20 min from grocery stores. The main reason for choosing this location was to use swimming pool and the heat in the swimming pool was not working. We were glad to have access to the hot tub. Overall good experience.

Nice Clean Lake House

Great weekend stay at this very clean lake house. This was our first time in Clermont for a wedding in Montverde. Clermont is a nice area with lots of lakes and a nice town. If we are ever in the area in the future we would not hesitate to rent this house again.

Best short-term rental EVER

When booking, I thought if this place was half as good as the pictures, it would be well worth it. Well, this place under-promises and over-delivers. The rental was large, airy and oh that view! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and everything was the just-right balance of attractive and comfy. Note to dog owners: I had my two Shih Tzus with me and they had a great time. As another reviewer mentioned, while not in the pictures, there is a small fenced in area where you can curb your dogs. It was perfect for them and they too had a great time. (If you have a bigger, bouncier dog, you may need to leash walk them -- or at least you would if you had escape=artist dogs.) This was an ideal break from it all. We'll be back.

Gorgeous House!

We came to Clermont to do the triathlon and stayed at this place. It is absolutely gorgeous! The pool overlooks a lake and the sunsets were stunning! Also the house was the best stocked house we’ve ever stayed at. There was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and a whole spice cabinet. We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back next year!

Perfect place to stay for a 22 mile bike ride and then hit the pool with a fruity umbrella cocktail after The ride!

Lovely

We really enjoyed this home and view of the lake. It was not in a busy area (which we appreciate) but plenty of easy day trips to Epcot, Orlando, Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center…more. Clermont has convenient shopping. The home was clean and well stocked and we were quite relaxed. Travis is the beat and brought us a homemade peach cobbler…how sweet is that? Thank you for a wonderful stay…I cried when it was time for us to leave!

Best vacation ever!

We stayed for an extended weekend with our 2 year old dog. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and sunsets on the lake. The fenced in yard next to the screened-in pool was clutch for our pup to use the bathroom. Disney was only 35 mins away and tons of good food and shopping in Clermont near by. The master bedroom is roomy and offers king bed with smart tv. Master bathroom and closet is amazing too! We loved the open concept and the kitchen had everything we needed. Spare bedrooms are a nice size too. 10/10 recommend and hope to rent again!

Super Clean & Very Relaxing!

We stay in several rental homes each year between Florida and North Carolina and this is BY FAR the cleanest house we've ever stayed in. Everything was impeccable and not a spot of dust anywhere! The house itself is beautifully decorated and the view of the lake is just the relaxation we needed. Will definitely stay again!
