Disappointing

Pros: Room appeared to be recently remodeled at least.
Cons: Common area remodeling, Add wet facilities for adults (Jacuzzi for example). Add continental breakfast. Provide an exercise bike.
Like many hotel fitness centers, equipment was lacking. No exercise bike for example. Pool was not a pool, just a kiddie wadding pool. No continental breakfast, strange for a hotel of this magnitude. Bistro was closed during the day. Ratty condition of common areas. Room did not have a USB port for charging devices. No concierge services.

Was pleasantly surprised. !

Pros: Loved the lobby. Loved the bar where I had breakfast or snacks daily and my cappucino. My room was very nice to o,
Location: Not that far from the bus to take me into Manhattan, at the Turtle Back Zoo.
I Had been there about 8 years ago and didn't like it at all. I only went bacj because I couldn't find a room anywhere else that I wanted so thought I'd give it a second try. This IS WHERE I WILL STAY FROM NOW ON. It changed management and remodeled the lobby and educated the staff. I couldn't not have bbeb happier.

Too cold for comfort

Nothing to complain about except the room temperature. It sat at 65 degrees and I could not find a way to set the thermostat to our desired 70 degrees. Insufficient instruction was the flaw. Next morning the front desk person told me you have open the thermostat to affect the change. I had tried to open it, but could not find a way to do it.
