Rooms were nice. Front staff were great and helpful to cruisers. Good location. Kitchen and wait staff were not good. Go to a restaurant that is happy for your business.

There was some kind of reception the night we spent there. We were not informed that this was an occurrence there. Unable to sleep due to the blasting music until the early morning hours.

Excellent Hotel. If you are traveling in Italy for a cruise then this is the perfect place to stay both before and after your cruise. If you are traveling in Rome and want to stay on the Mediterranean this is also an ideal choice. The hotel is beautiful and reasonable. It is located about 10 minutes by car from the cruise port. The staff is multilingual and very friendly. There is a dining room on site for both smoking and non-smoking guests with a special menu for hotel guests. A deluxe continental breakfast and italian specialty coffee is included with your hotel stay. After a recent cruise we were so pleased with this hotel that we booked to stay again after our cruise and so did many of our fellow cruise passengers. I will be returning to this hotel for a future stay. The hotel is beautiful, inviting, warm, clean and safe.

very nice and professional staff

We stayed here with a lot of other professionals between two and three month as we had a project in Civitavecchia. I was very pleased with the entire hotel staff. Any special need we had, was full-filled. We had a lot of special needs or requests over the time. The reception staff and the hotel director were super friendly and always helpful. At breakfast the staff knew our favorite coffee and brought it even without the need to ask for it. Our room was equipped as we wanted and it was kept clean very well. The rooms have air conditioning and a wast TV program available. The restaurant personnel was very friendly and the service was very good. The restaurant food was excellent so we did not feel the need to go out too often, except for pizza or hamburger once in a while. The location is very convenient as the hotel is only a few steps away from the train station, the port and the little shopping area. It is on a main street and faces the mediterranean sea. As for activities I used the beauty center for a manicure and I was happy with it. Not to forget the reception staff is multilingual (I heard Italian of course, English, German and some Spanish), which makes it very easy and pleasant to communicate. If we will be back to Civitavecchia we will stay at the Hotel San Giorgio again.
