Hotel owner is super friendly. They arranged our transfer to TranzAlpine station and held our luggage and items in our room at no extra charge. We had a lovely stay here before catching the train the next morning. The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located near the train station. The decor is simple, but we stayed here for the ease of getting to the train. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and helpful (in spite of me not grasping things at first). For entertainment, you could access Apple TV, Disney+, Netflix and YouTube on the smart tv. They also arranged a transfer to the train station, most helpful. Would certainly stay here again.
