Great Location for Train Travelers

This was a great place to stay for two nights in late October and to take out and back day trips by train to Siena and Florence on back-to-back days. Very close to the train station - very convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant in the morning was small, but good. Highly recommend this location! It's small, but serviced and supported very well by the staff at the restaurant.

La Piccola Locanda is not a hotel, they don’t have a front desk. The owner sends an email before check in date explaining this “Albergo diffuso accomodation concept” meaning they can place you anywhere, the check in time are only from 11:00 - 2:45 and 6 -11:00 pm. The owner left me the keys on top of a barell, the entrance to the building was like a storage, no elevator, I dragged my suitcase 5 stair flights, and I was alone in the whole building, very scary! I ended up staying somewhereelse!

Camera un po' fredda e non particolarmente pulita. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo provato a contattare la struttura ma il numero non era raggiungibile. Per fortuna che poco dopo ha aperto il ristorante di proprietà della struttura. Colazione basilare, cornetto e caffè .
