Awesome cabin on the lake

We came for a quick weekend away for my birthday and were blown away with how amazing the cabin was. The cabin was decorated beautifully, felt secluded, private, and cozy. We rented a boat and Matt had it waiting for us at our private dock! We had so much fun on the lake. The cabin is also close to town and we could get to dinner in under 5 minutes.

Short getaway

Good weekend getaway, had a little trouble finding the place, but in all fairness we didn’t get to the property until it was dark out. Everything else was great!

Everything we needed

The cottage and furnishings are old and dated but we weren’t expecting anything more. Everything was very clean and the cupboards were well stocked with cooking utensils. It was still early season and cool but were able to enjoy some time sitting by the lake which was lovely. The water is close to the cabin and there is a nice dock.

Hidden gem on lake Wissota. This cabin is part of an old school family north woods resort. The cabin had its own dock plus there were small fishing docks all around the resort. The property was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area!
