Good place - fine stay - but...

The place is good, average breakfast, beds are good. I had a few problems, like: - I did the check-in online (Hilton Honors) including choosing a room and when I arrived the front desk just change the room and put me in a different one without even telling me why she did that (I definitely didn't like that at all). Next morning I was filling my big jug of water, and the lady didn't let me do it, saying that I had to use the small cups to fill it up. Just to be clear, it's an igloo 1 gallon jug with an opening of 6 inches to put water, so would no touch the dispenser at all in case that was her concern. The showerhead was broken - I couldn't adjust the water flow. I had to settle for a poor water flow. I'm not sure if I would recommend, though!

Kennedy was the manager on duty and she was awesome. Every staff member spoke (Southern Hospitality at its finest) and the breakfast? They had waffles and mini waffles and whipped cream, white and chocolate sauce. It was clean, plenty of towels and they had a little store for microwave food that was on point. I even got a free kitkat lol. Kids loved it and we only stayed overnight. At first I thought the price was a little high, but it was worth every cent. And the rooms had microwaves and a balcony with chairs and table. Views are spectacular.

Lovely.

All around amazing stay in Daphne. If you can get a bay view room, do it. Its so worth it at sunset! Beds are very comfortable, breakfast was good and the staff were all so nice.
