I stayed on the top floor. Thinking it was quiet but they had hundreds of pigeons nesting in the roof. The breakfast was very poor. Nothing for the western person. Only cold fried eggs and lots a long way for town.

Everything with the hotel was very nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Quality of breakfast is above average with a nice selection. Overall very good place to stay. The location is a bit away from everything but manageable.

Sadly, we didn’t get to stay at the property. The river flooded, making it impossible to get to the hotel. The hotel refused to refund the money even though they told us they would.

I like everything about the Space Hotel Chiang Rai. I also stay at the Space Hotel in Lampang. Soon there will also be a Space Hotel Airport in Chiang Rai as well. I travel for business and pleasure and The Space Hotels is where I stay in Thailand.

Checkin was good, helpfull staffs. Room needs more cleaning - dusty areas, towel needs to be changed - poor quality. Breakfast was terrible - coffee,tea + boiled rice with chicken/pork & biscuit. Not recommended for International travellers. Mosquitoes all over in the hotel - reception, lobby, room areas. Location is good for eateries, shopping, bars. ( BRYAN )

We found it a pleasant stay. The beds and the shower were both very small. The lobby and the overall feel of the restaurant is very modern and clean. The room was good and we’d stay here again.

Lovely short stay!

We had a lovely short stay here! The room was amazing especially as it was within a backpackers budget but was luxury! The bed was so comfy and the shower was nice and warm. We used to gym on site and had it all to ourselves which was another plus. We never tried the breakfast but it looked lovely, all thai food. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the clock tower and main strip but there are small shops/food stands around if you didnt feel like walking that fair. My partner got food poisoning while we were here (nothing to do with the hotel as we didnt eat there) and he felt comfortable and was glad we were in such a nice room when he was ill. We didnt get to do too much in Chiang Rai because of this so would deffo come back! Overall we had a great stay here and would love to come back!

It’s okay for those with budget travel in mind..

Convenient to tourist area around Bus Station I, Night Market and Clock Tower.. Rolm okay except no accent lights on night stand. The room I stayed could use a little maintenance (more than standard cleaning - aged tiles, water spots, general appearance greater than cleaner persons would maintain).. Great price and Asian Fare Breakfast.. Consider comparing to other local area listings..

Main level was up to date, but rooms were outdated. Double bed room was very spacious, but very soft bed. Shower pressure not the greatest. Staff didn’t speak much English, so hard to communicate. Specify they have blow dryers at front desk, but don’t. Great location! All in all, it was good for what you pay for.
