Excellent hotel, a true gem inside Chiang Mai old city. Great location, wonderful staff. They recommended 3 excellent restaurants which you should not miss: The Faces, Dash (go online and book weeks in advance) and The House by Ginger (Michelin star but with excellent prices and amazing food). Our room was huge with pool access. The pool is a long lap pool and my husband swam every morning. Excellent breakfast with made to order eggs and coffee, plus a buffet with Asian and western options and delicious Thai coconut desserts. The farmers markets is a 2 minute walk and tons of excellent Thai massage places within 2-3 minute walk. If we are ever back in Chiang Mai, this is the only hotel I want to stay

Thank you to Phor Liang Meun Hotel for a wonderful stay. We had a small issue with our first room which they did a fantastic job of accommodating us and putting us in upgraded room. The staff were incredibly friendly and gave us wonderful suggestions for Old Town, for those looking for a place that’s central and walkable this hotel is your spot. It’s right by South Gate that has a fun night market and in walking distance to the Sunday Night Market and the two biggest temples. Very easy to walk to other markets and locations as well. Hotel itself was really pretty and the rooms spacious and clean. They provide breakfast as well which was very good. We also had an early tour one morning and we asked about breakfast which they can provide you a to go box if you have to leave early before 7. Otherwise highly recommend

Of all the places I stayed in our 10-day trip to Thailand, this was the STAR. The facility was beautiful, traditional and so fun to walk around. The room was also beautiful, well stocked and clean. The staff were very attentive and courteous. The breakfast, though small, had a mix of traditional Thai foods and western foods and I really enjoyed it. I especially enjoyed the fresh, made to order coffee. The location was perfectly set for walking around Chiang Mai’s old town. If I ever return to Chiang Mai, I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is meticulously maintained and the room beautifully decorated. Staff is friendly, courteous, and super helpful. We appreciated the welcome snack and tea at check-in as well as the basket of complimentary snacks, ramen, and bottles of water in the room. Location is excellent inside the old city and within a short distance to the night market. The only complaint we had was the lack of hand towels and wash cloths, which should be an easy fix.

My son and I visited this hotel. The staff was very friendly! The hotel pool and breakfast were amazing. This was a step up from the bungalow but it was very authentic! We enjoyed the muay Thai fight and night market. We also did visit temples and took a dip in the pool. We will be back!!! Thank you! Namaste.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Our room was very comfortable with a balcony view of the pool. Great location for markets and shops and 5 min walk to the Sunday market which starts at 5pm and finishes at midnight.
