Good place for one night

Good value for money but it was quite loud with people talking outside the room the whole night. Friendly staff and good access to the southern sights of the lake.

Love bacalar

We loved this hotel and Bacalar. Friendly staff (Richard was wonderful and sooo helpful!). The place is clean and cute, and has all that we needed. We would have loved to have stayed longer. Bacalar is best!

It was great! I could see a bit of the lagoon from my room which is great because it's what I came to Bacalar for! Room was really clean, toiletries provided and the staff was super helpful in calling me a taxi etc. I also went on a tour and checked out 2 hrs late unfortunately but they were so understanding! Safe and convenient location as well so definitely book here!

Toilet didn't flush, water from faucets smelled like sewer, sink detached from wall. Staff pleasant, helpful, room clean, bed comfortable. Hotel a pull-off from busy highway, noisy. No problems with water, toilet, sink in other room.

Budget Bacler

This was our 3rd visit to Baclar, as the area is quaint and nice to have a tge scenic background of the lagoon. In the past we did something very expensive ( which was amazing !) and very budget, which was fine as we were traveling early the next day...so with El Mirador , we tried something mid, to low budget...Here is the pro's...nice view from of the lagoon, from our 2nd story room, place was spacious and new....cons, they are building right in front, which was maybe why the place was cheaper, as this place will eventually be 100 plus dollars, the beds were new but cheap, inexpensive...at night you could here the traffic from the highways, as this place is right beside the main highway and the location is outside the village, so unless you have a car, there isnt anything around....no bedside light, which I found odd...and little beetles running around...didnt bite or anything...but the wife hates bugs...I would rank this hotel..around 5.5 out of 10

Las amenidades del hotel dejan mucho, ya que tiene unas almohadas horribles, un colchón de lo más incómodo qué hay y para colmo no tiene edredón solamente una Saba irá para taparte. No volvería hospedarme aquí.

No nos hospedamos en el hotel El Mirador, nos ofrecieron el Hotel Chak Sol y aceptamos. Nos asignaron una habitación que no funcionaba la regadera, no lo solucionaron durante el día y nos cambiaron a otra habitación a las 10 de la noche. Al personal le falta capacitación en hoteleria
