Flight Review

Jan 21, 2020

Best airline

Jan 12, 2020

The staff were extremely helpful and patient. The sears had great leg room on Austrian air.

Jan 2, 2020

I rejected the upgrade, because I was not informed that it was free. I assumed it would add expense to my flight. Otherwise I would have accepted the upgrade!

Jan 2, 2020

service, staff and food were all amazing. a little disappointed in the 'lie flat' beds. they didn't totally lay flat and were a bit narrow for business class. two or three more inches wider would have been much more comfortable.

Dec 10, 2019

All good

Dec 2, 2019

the staff was very pleasant, and I was surprised to be offered a snack and drink on such a short flight.

Nov 29, 2019

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Vienna

If you like the thought of spending more time at the airport bars and restaurants and less time at the security checkpoint on your way to Vienna, just follow these practical tips:

  • Keep your boarding pass and travel ID somewhere accessible. They'll be the first things you'll be told to produce by security personnel.
  • USB sticks, wallets and keys must be put in a bin for X-raying. If you enter the body scanner with these items, you'll be requested to turn back and remove them.
  • Make sure your electronic devices and laptop are within reach. These items need to be put through the X-ray machine in separate tubs.
  • When you get to the security checkpoint, you'll be asked to place all liquids, gels and creams in a separate tub for scanning. Make sure they're all stored in containers no larger than 3.4 ounces (100 milliliters) and sealed in a clear zip-lock bag.
  • Hiking boots and other cumbersome shoes are likely to be X-rayed by airport security. Think about wearing lightweight sneakers instead.
  • Pocketknives and corkscrews are not permitted on board the plane. Tuck them away in your checked luggage to avoid forfeiting them at the security checkpoint.
