Would love to see actual limits used on size and number for on board luggage. most are using hard large suitcases that I am sure would not fit in the measuring rack at airport and often have a large knapsack/purse as well. Also would like to see the back of the plane board first as it is frustrating for the stewards to have to crawl back and forth trying to find room for the oversized on board luggage and only to have to try and pass everyone in the aisle trying to get to the back of the plane to their seats. These people are now in the way of the stewards trying to removing the luggage forward to retag and fit under the plane. Not sure if the luxury folks in the front enjoy being jostled for 20 minutes by bodies and luggage being moved about. I think I would be frustrated. Start by picking out the large luggage at boarding and say no this has to go under the plane immediately instead of waiting until the plane aisle is crammed with bodies and luggage. I think more comfortable for fliers, and steward staff. They work very hard and shouldn't have to be struggling with oversized luggage and little space. Unless it is a guitar/violin or delicate/fragile it should go under if it won't fit in the sizing rack.
