How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Kathmandu
These handy tips and pointers about airport security procedures will save you plenty of time on your journey to Kathmandu:

  • Security personnel will ask to see your travel ID and boarding pass upon arrival. Keep them in an accessible place, so they're ready for inspection.
  • Remove your shoes, belt and jewellery before approaching the airport security checkpoint. Items like these are not allowed to pass through the body scanner.
  • Electronic devices such as tablets, laptops and phones will need to be put through the X-ray machine separately. Make sure they're within easy reach.
